Andy is Executive Vice President for the Eastern Region, overseeing property operations for communities located in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Since joining Mission Rock in 2016, he has been an integral part of the company's aggressive expansion along the East Coast.
Andy has been a member of the apartment industry for nearly 30 years and has a diverse background in both operations and construction management. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through IREM and earned his bachelor's in business at Georgia State University. Throughout his career, Andy has remained an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association and IREM.

As Vice President of Learning and Development (L&D) at Mission Rock Residential, Anissa oversees the ongoing investment in our Rocker's professional and leadership development.
Since joining Mission Rock in October 2018 as Director of Training, Anissa has elevated our company's L&D Department through successfully creating and strengthening our learning content through Rock U, empowering and developing the L&D Team, and supporting all departments with their learning and training needs. She has been a game-changer, and with the help of the entire L&D Team, Mission Rock's Learning & Development department is among the best in the industry!
Before Mission Rock, Anissa worked as a Revenue Management Advisor II at RealPage. Additionally, she was Director of Learning and Development at Mill Creek Residential Trust and National Training Manager at Fairfield Residential.
Anissa is a highly regarded multi-family visionary leader with expertise in learning & performance management, culture-building, and people engagement. Anissa is a certified "John Maxwell Team" coach, AAMD Board of Director member, published author, and speaker for numerous industry events. Noted awards include "Multifamily Insiders Choice", "Most Outstanding Training Professional", "AAMD Person of the Year Finalist", and "Competent Toastmaster/Leader".
As Chief Operations Officer, Arista Eden oversees Mission Rock Residential's asset performance, operations strategy, ESG initiatives, and Client relationships. Arista has over two decades of industry experience in multi-family development, acquisitions, financing, management, and dispositions. Before joining Mission Rock, Arista served as Vice President of Asset Management for April Housing, a Blackstone Portfolio Company.
Her previous experience also includes seventeen years as Vice President of Asset Management for AIG Global Real Estate, where she oversaw multi-family portfolios in the Northeast, Southwest, and Mountain regions.

As Vice President of Marketing & Customer Experience at Mission Rock Residential, Ashley is responsible for the implementation and execution branding initiatives for both the individual communities as well as Mission Rock overall. She oversees customer experience initiatives for over 30,000 units in 17 states.
Ashley supervises programs related to community websites, digital advertising, branded collateral, social media, reputation management, and customer experience enhancements. Ashley developed Mission Rock's online reputation management program in 2016, and as a result, the amount of online feedback has improved over 200%.
Ashley brings 13 years of industry experience and joined Mission Rock Residential when it first began in 2012. Additionally, she has over 7 years of experience in marketing and Public Relations, working with clients like Pinkberry, Chick-fil-A, and the Southern Colorado Craft Lager Festival.
Ashley graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Public Relations.

As the Vice President of Human Resources, Carolyn is responsible for leading and directing all the people functions of Mission Rock Residential. Carolyn's oversight ensures compliance with federal and state regulations along with strategic human resource planning to provide the company with the best talent available and to position the company as the Employer of Choice.
Carolyn brings over 20 years of Human Resources experience in various industries. She is highly effective in building and developing internal human resources infrastructure to help facilitate organizational growth. Prior to joining Mission Rock, she was the Vice President of Human Resources at MorningStar Senior Living where she led the execution of key initiatives with an emphasis on talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
Carolyn currently holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Senior Certified Professional certification (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resources Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado and a Master of Science degree from Regis University.

As the Senior Vice President of Property Services, David oversees the Regional Service Management team in 17 states to ensure timely execution of capital projects and business plans throughout the portfolio. In addition, David coordinates all training and development programs for the onsite team members as well as preventative maintenance plans throughout the organization.
David's responsibilities also include the development of Mission Rock policies and procedures as well as industry best practices. David is regularly involved with Risk management, Execution of MRO purchasing contracts, and Master Service Agreements for the organization.
David started his career in property management as a paint contractor and continued to develop his skills and knowledge as a Regional Quality Assurance Manager with Trammell Crow Residential and Director of Maintenance and Construction with PEM Real Estate Group in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has worked in the property management industry for over 28 years.
David attended International Baptist and West Coast Baptist College where he studied Music Performance. David is a Certified Pool Operator and has multiple trade certifications in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical repair.

James joined Mission Rock in 2015 and since joining has elevated the technology resources, security, policy and support across the company. Throughout his tenure, Mission Rock has experienced a shift in technological advancements and support through the implementation of a support team and helpdesk, software enhancements, network infrastructure and cybersecurity. James has standardized technology equipment procurement and achieved cost savings in technology through vendor management and contract negotiations.
James' brings to Mission Rock over 10 years of IT Leadership and a diverse background that aids in providing sound and flexible strategies for keeping the company secure, innovative and on budget. Prior to working for Mission Rock he served as an IT leader at Zynex Medical where he managed a highly secure IT infrastructure and lead and supported the team to implement new systems, create policies and enhance security protocols.

As Executive Vice President for the Central Region, Janelle oversees Mission Rock Residential's properties in Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri. Janelle is responsible for the financial and operational success of the Central Region portfolio while managing the operational transition of new acquisitions.
Janelle has over 25 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Starting as a leasing consultant and advancing over the years through the assistant manager, property manager, and regional manager roles have allowed Janelle the opportunity to truly learn the business from the ground up. Prior to joining Mission Rock Janelle was a Regional Manager for Fairfield Residential in both Colorado and Washington. She has experience overseeing diverse portfolios that include new construction lease-up, affordable, conventional/stabilized communities as well as redevelopment properties for repositioning in the market.
Janelle is currently the Member Services Committee Chair for the Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD), in addition she has previously been an executive board member for AAMD, where she has served as Secretary, President Elect, President and Past President. She is an active member of the Colorado Apartment Association (CAA) Board. She attended National College of Business where she earned her Associates's Degree in Hospitality Management. Janelle is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through IREM and holds a Broker's License for Colorado.

Karen Cash joined Mission Rock Residential as a Regional Manager for Texas in 2017 with over 25 years of industry experience. She has consistently shown strong performance and team loyalty by being an empathetic, dedicated and progressive leader who mentors numerous individuals for success.
Before joining Mission Rock, Karen was a Regional Vice President with Adara Communities and where she successfully oversaw the operations of up to 21 communities with 5,300 units. Karen brings proven experience in multiple facets of the multifamily industry, including new construction lease-up, conventional communities, rehab and value-add, and student markets. She is an active member of her local apartment associations, where she has held various chairs on both Bryan College Station Apartment and Texas Apartment Associations. Additionally, she was awarded both Member of the Year and Manager of the Year. Her calm, proactive and fair nature provides both balance and growth for her region.
Karen is a proud Grandmother of two grandchildren and enjoys working on her ranch with her husband.

As the Vice President of Operational Compliance, Kassi is responsible for leading a process and compliance focused team. After joining Mission Rock Residential in 2015, Kassi has consistently strived to serve the company and her team through process improvement. She oversees internal and external financial reporting, as well as departmental vendor compliance. Developing policies and procedures for the team while serving as a liaison between accounting and other departments is a core focus.
Kassi started her career in governmental accounting, working for both city and state entities, before shifting her focus to the multifamily industry and finding her home with Mission Rock. She is a graduate of Kansas State University and the New York Institute of Technology.

As Senior Executive Vice President, Kay oversees the operations of the Western portfolio which includes 80 properties with 10,642 units in Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Additionally, Kay assists in the determination of strategic operational objectives, drives property operational performance for the entire Mission Rock portfolio, mentors and develops new EVP's and executive team members and assists in the evaluation of new initiatives to determine the validity of implementation.
Prior to joining Mission Rock Residential, Kay was Vice President of Operations for PEM Real Estate Group in Scottsdale, Arizona and led property management efforts in Arizona, California, and Nevada. Her previous experience also includes five years as President of Evergreen Realty Group, and ten years with Magellan Residential as Vice President of Property Management.
Kay holds a Broker License for Arizona and Nevada. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through IREM, as well as a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) through NAA.
As CFO, Kim oversees the IT, Data Analytics, Residential and Corporate Accounting, Payroll, and Treasury departments. Kim is responsible for financial reporting to ownership groups, internal management, and oversees all external reporting requirements. A large portion of her role involves working closely with other departments to ensure accurate reporting.
Prior to joining Mission Rock, Kim was the Director of Accounting with a Denver-based non-profit organization as well as Vice President of Accounting and HR with Echelon Property Group. At Echelon, Kim was responsible for all accounting and human resource operations for approximately 6,000 fee-managed units. Her previous experience includes residential real estate development and audit experience with a national CPA firm. Kim is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado.

As Chief Experience Office, Marcella oversees the quality and management of the customer experience and lifecycle with a data-driven approach, including sales, retention, branding, promotions, and pricing strategies. In addition, she provides strategic direction within Mission Rock to strengthen brands, empower learning and development, and optimize pricing performance to deliver quality experiences for customers, team members, and clients while increasing revenue. Marcella is passionate about helping drive and strengthen Mission Rock's signature team-centric and equitable culture; therefore, she leads the organization's DEI Committee and strategies that focus on reflection, education, celebration, and action.
Marcella joined Mission Rock Residential in 2012 as Director of Sales and Marketing. She brings over 18 years of industry experience, including starting onsite as a community assistant at a student property. Before Mission Rock Residential, she worked for a Miami-based owner-operator, overseeing the digital brand for over 6,000 units throughout four states, including developing portfolio performance reporting and introducing social media and digital marketing strategies.
Marcella is a graduate of Florida State University and attended St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, for her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business. She is an active member of NAA and IREM. Additionally, she serves on multiple industry boards, including the Apartment Innovative & Marketing (AIM) Conference, the Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD), and customer advisory boards. Marcella is considered an industry thought leader with experience speaking at local and national levels, including MFE Conference, AIM, NAA's Apartmentalize, and more. In addition, she remains active in her local community, volunteering with local organizations, including One Colorado and The Conflict Center.

Matt oversees the capital improvement strategy and execution and professional support and development of service teams across 4 states for Mission Rock. He provides training for the service teams, oversees the development and execution of capital improvement projects, and analyzes future capital needs for the properties he oversees.
Matt started his career in maintenance over 23 years ago. He started his career in property management as a service manager with Thompson Michie and Associates 21 years ago on a small 100-unit property in Utah. He has been with Mission Rock Residential for the last 10 years. Over the last 23 years in maintenance, Matt has gained extensive knowledge in various types of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, building envelope, and waterproofing details. This knowledge helps him develop scopes of work to write accurate RFPs and verify the quality of work on the projects he oversees.
Matt attended Utah State University, where he studied Aviation.

As President of Mission Rock Residential, Meredith is responsible for the planning, resource allocation, vision, and performance of property operations. She has oversight of more than 27,000 units in 16 states valued at over $5 billion. Under Meredith's leadership, Mission Rock is focused on culture and vision that creates a collaborative and inclusive environment and inspires our team members to deliver superior performance. Meredith is dedicated to providing outstanding service to the residents, clients, employees and partners of Mission Rock Residential.
Previously, as Executive Vice President of the Eastern Region, Meredith had oversight of Mission Rock Residential's properties in Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Virginia, Tennessee, and Florida. Meredith was responsible for the financial and operational success of the Eastern Region portfolio while managing the operational transition of new acquisitions. Additionally, Meredith had managerial oversight of the IT, Data Analysis and Treasury teams.
Prior to Mission Rock Residential, Meredith was a key founding member and Vice President of Operations for Echelon Property Group. Her previous experience also includes seven years as Vice President Operations with Baron Properties and five years at Legacy Partners as a Regional Manager in both Northern California and Colorado.
Meredith is a graduate of Colorado State University and is a past President of both the Colorado Apartment Association (CAA) and the Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD) for which she is a member of the Hall of Fame. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through IREM as well as a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) through NAA.

Nicole is Vice President of Operations for Mission Rock Residential's Central Region. Nicole oversees the operational and financial performance of approximately 30 multifamily communities, including over 5,000 units throughout Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. Nicole joined Mission Rock in 2016 as a Regional Manager in Colorado.
Nicole has 22 years of experience in the multifamily industry. She began her career in multifamily by working at the Housing Authority for the City of Loveland, where she managed Public Housing units, Section 202 projects, Housing Choice Vouchers, Project-based Section 8, LIHTC units, and many self-sufficiency programs. She has extensive knowledge of all property operations and remains hands-on with supporting and mentoring teams and the communities she oversees.
Nicole holds her HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) from the National Association of Home Builders and her CAPS (Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor) designation from the National Apartment Association. She is also an active CO Broker.
Pat co-founded Mission Rock in 2012 and has led the company to add 30,000 units valued at approximately $6.5 billion to Mission Rock's Property Management portfolio. Pat brings 30 years of experience in the Property Management industry. Under Pat's leadership, Mission Rock has become an industry leader in the multifamily arena and an Accredited Management Organization, which is the highest designation in the Multifamily Industry. As CEO, Pat's primary responsibilities include making major corporate decisions, new business development, and acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors (the board) and corporate operations. She is also responsible for allocating resources to meet the vision and growth of the company.

Sarah is known for her strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive results in a competitive market.
Sarah Kempton joined Mission Rock in 2013. She is a dedicated multifamily professional with over 23 years of experience in the multifamily industry. She has developed a deep understanding of the market and maintains a proven track record of success. Sarah held various roles in property management, where she honed her expertise in leasing, financial analysis, and property operations. She is passionate about delivering high-quality service to residents and fostering a positive work environment for her team.
Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and hiking outside of work. She is also actively involved in the Arizona Multifamily Association.

As Vice President of the Central region at Mission Rock Residential, Shayna is responsible for property operations of 44 properties with over 10,000 units in Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri for 6 clients. Shayna has been active in the multifamily industry since 2001, starting out as a Leasing Consultant. Her background consists of value add, acquisitions, dispositions, lease-up, and stabilized assets. She excels with collaboration amongst her teams that creates a cohesive team dynamic which in turn produces a high level of results.
Shayna joined Mission Rock Residential in 2017, as a Regional Manager overseeing 8 properties. She was promoted to a Senior Regional Manager where currently she is responsible for 15 properties, consisting of 80 plus employees, with 8 direct reports including a Regional Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of assets in Denver, Ft. Collins, Littleton, as well as a property in Kansas and one in Missouri. Shayna holds a Colorado Associate Real Estate Broker License along with CAPS Certification.

As Vice President of Property Services, William oversees the Regional Service Management team throughout Mission Rock's East Coast portfolio. William provides oversight for the scope development, contractor relations, and assesses future capital needs. His responsibilities also include the management, timelines, and execution of capital projects and business plans throughout the portfolio.
Prior to joining Mission Rock Residential, William was the Director of Maintenance and Capital Operations for the Metropolitan Management Group. His previous experience also includes Service Manager at TGM Associates resulting in over 20 years in the construction and property management industry.
William holds several national certificates such as EPA 608, EPA Lead Remediation Technician, CPO, and NAA CAMT designation. He also served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and was Honorably Discharged in 2006.
