Kale Robinson - Founder

Kale is a Certified Nutrition Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He specializes in sport and exercise nutrition and body composition/performance training. He completed over 15,000 hours of in-person coaching before moving to an online platform and has over 17 years experience working in the health and fitness industry. Kale's clients have ranged from everyday people looking to improve their health and body composition to professional athletes looking to optimize their performance. After graduating with a Bachelor of Recreation & Health Education from Brock University in St. Catharine's, Ontario, Kale moved to Victoria, British Columbia and began his career working as a Personal Trainer. He started helping clients transform their bodies through fitness and nutrition coaching at a local health and fitness facility where he was later named Director of Fitness & Training. He was named Trainer of the Year in 2010, is a three-time recipient of his former company's President's Club award from 2013-2015, and was also the recipient of the True 2 Form award for his outstanding service to his clients and organization. Now as the founder and Coach at MacroNutrition, Kale's goal is to enhance the quality of life for our clients by ensuring optimal body composition and performance through nutrition and fitness coaching. He is committed to helping others look and feel their absolute best while maintaining a fun and balanced lifestyle.

Ryan Zehr

From Client to Coach, Ryan has been through the success of the MacroNutrition program. After spending several months interning under the MN founder, he is eager to continue to his passion for health and fitness. Ryan has completed his PN1 Nutrition Course through Precision Nutrition and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Sports Science Association. Ryan has always been in a team atmosphere whether it is at work, at home, or even on the ice (hockey); due to this team mentality, he always comes at challenges with the belief that there will always be someone there to help and support you. Ryan has adopted this approach to help him become successful in the pursuit of his own goals - that it is ok to be vulnerable and ask for help - and he wants to show you this too. Almost every journey has been walked before, so it is important to consider this and realize those with experience often want to help. Ryan fully understands that life can be complicated and seems to get in the way, especially with his busy travel lifestyle, needing to be able to quickly adapt to all environments. He prides himself in being able to give you the tools and mechanisms to overcome those obstacles. Ryan can help you navigate your busy lifestyle and continue meaningful healthy lifestyle changes, no matter what life throws your way.

Virginia Clough

Passionate about health and nutrition, Virginia's love for food motivated her to build a career around healthy eating. She is a Registered Dietitian through both the College of Dietitians of British Columbia and the College of Dietitians of Ontario, and a Certified Nutrition Coach. She began her education at the University of Victoria studying human biology and food science. She later transferred to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Health, with a Major in Dietetics. Following graduation, she acquired her certification as a Nutrition Coach, specializing in sport and exercise nutrition for beginners, competitive athletes, and everything in between. She excels at assessing client needs, identifying nutritional gaps and deficiencies, and prescribing appropriate foods and supplementation to improve health and enhance performance. Before joining MacroNutrition, Virginia combined her love for science and enthusiasm for helping others by working as the Director of Food Services at a local independent living facility. During this time, she was responsible for the health and wellbeing of residents by providing nutritionally balanced meal options and diet & lifestyle guidance to support their dynamic needs. Now working at MacroNutrition as a Registered Dietitian, Virginia's goal is to improve the quality of life for our clients by providing tailored education and support to all individuals looking to transform their bodies and improve their health.
