The International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) is a non-profit, member-driven organization established in 1987 to advance ground source heat pump (GSHP) technology on local, state, national and international levels... Explore how IGSHPA is promoting geothermal technology as a sustainable solution for reducing carbon emissions and building a cleaner energy future... In 2019, it was decided by Oklahoma State University to find a new home for the association. After looking at opportunities across the country, it was decided to allow IGSHPA to become an affiliate organization with The GeoExchange Organization, with the final documents approved in September 2020. IGSHPA is now an independent non-profit organization.
