GREEN LANE VETS - Key Persons
Amy has been working as our Animal Nursing Assistant since March 2018. As well as being an active member of young farmers, Amy also works on a farm educating young adults with additional learning needs, supporting them in learning about animal husbandry. Amy is an invaluable member of our team, caring for our inpatients, covering reception and helping Val with large animal work often undertaking farm audit administration.
Andrei started his career in 2009 as a small animal vet and in 2011 it became clear that surgery was his passion. He has worked in different parts of the UK as a surgical biased vet specialising in orthopaedics. Andrei came to Kent in 2014 as a small animal referral surgeon at Toachim House.
Now working with various clinics, Andrei has his own independent referral service. Having Andrei available to us means that your pet's orthopaedic needs are covered without the necessity for travel to a referral hospital.
Debbie initially re-joined our team in November 2020 as a receptionist and in October 2021 became our full time clinic administrator. Debbie has a long history in clerical work within the veterinary sector and among other administrative duties, Debbie is responsible for all pet insurance claims and Animal Health Certificates for travel abroad.
Ella joined the clinic as a receptionist in July 2020 and in October 2021 moved onto the clinical team. Although she has had no previous veterinary experience, she has grown up around many animals and has great empathy with clients and patients alike. She possesses excellent customer service skills and is particularly caring towards our patients. Ella always goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional client and patient care.
Emma has been with the clinic since early 2018. Initially starting with Green Lane as a receptionist and in February 2020 became practice manager. Emma has a wealth of experience within management, human resources and the veterinary industry.
Karen is registered as an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology. Since 2003, she has worked as an independent veterinary surgeon, specialising in ophthalmic second opinion and referral surgery in small animals, equines and exotics.
Karen works in both East Sussex and Kent, working at Green Lane for consultations on Thursday evenings and performing referral ophthalmic surgery as required.

Paul is President of the British Veterinary Dental Association and past President of the European Veterinary Dental Society. He is passionate about providing education to veterinary and dental Surgeons in animal dentistry.
We are fortunate enough to have Paul provide veterinary dentistry referrals for us on a monthly basis.
Part-time Receptionist Rosalind Morris Roz started as a receptionist when the clinic opened and has been with us ever since. Roz has helped shape Green Lane and the personal service clients experience from our front of house team. She has helped train our receptionists and has watched Green Lane grow to the clinic it has become today.

Practice Principal - Veterinary Surgeon Valerie Freeman - BVET MED MRCVS Val started the practice in November 1999 and has a broad interest in multiple animal species. Val has a farm as wells as the clinic and is responsible for all the large animal work within the practice as well as caring for our smaller domestic patients. With the many different animals Val owns herself it would be hard to pick a favourite, however, she is passionate about Hedgehogs, often rehoming several in the autumn!
