JACKSON ROBSON - Key Persons
I have lived in Driffield all my life and I joined the firm in 1980. Following qualifying in 1987 I went on to become a partner in 1989. I have built up a strong knowledge of all aspects of accounting and taxation with a particular focus on farming matters.
I have a keen interest in IT, having helped install the original network infrastructure back in the 1990s. I have a working knowledge of most accounting software packages, but now that we are Quickbooks Pro Advisors, I have turned my attention to this platform.
I pride myself in being friendly and approachable and do whatever I can to clearly explain and simplify things.
I joined Jackson Robson Licence in 2007 and became a director of the firm in 2014. Having worked in accountancy for over 20 years I have gathered experience in all areas of accountancy, taxation and business consulting. I have a diverse portfolio of clients of various sizes, covering a wide range of industries, with an extensive knowledge of the agriculture sector. In 2017 I also became a licensed Probate practitioner.
I enjoy working closely with clients, and helping them deal with the challenges they face in their business environment. I am passionate about providing a high-quality, personal service to every one of my clients.
Away from work, I am an accomplished show-jumper and spend the majority of my spare time with my horses travelling the country.
I joined the practice in February 2000 having successfully developed my own small practice in Driffield. I bring a variety of accounting and taxation experience from my many years working with predominately small and developing businesses across the region.
