SHELTERWOOD COLLABORATIVE

At some point in our lives we realize we are more than one job or one career. We are experts in many things, all of them we are passionate about doing well. And it is those passions that led us to create Shelterwood Collaborative. We are ecologists, lawyers, foresters. We tie exquisite flies for fishing. We take people fishing on small streams for gorgeous trout. We design homes and help people build them. We plan home sites. We help people protect those homes from fire by designing defensible spaces. We take people birding and help them learn about their natural surroundings. We write articles, web content, and blogs. We single-handedly started a non-profit and led a campaign to change how mining is in done in our critical streams and rivers. We have a wall full of degrees and a wrinkled face full of life experience. We deliberately live our lives to spend time in the wild, in nature, with friends, family, and our dogs...
