Dr Chen is a scientist with a doctorate in Bioinformatics and Structural Biology from National Tsing Hua University where he continued with research programs. Later in 2016, he served as a laboratory leader to the health management company and conducted experiments and research into immune cell therapy, assisting physicians in treatment. This uniquely equips him to be the Lab Director of Invitrx Therapeutics today. Dr Chen has significantly helped reinforce the foundation of our Asia Division by building the qualified laboratory, overseeing the production projects and mentoring the lab technicians.

Mr. Torfi founded Invitrx Therapeutics in 2003 and serves as Chairman and CEO. A pioneer in the field of Regenerative Stem Cell Medicine, he directed the Laboratory of Regenerative Bioengineering and Repair for the Department of Surgery at UCLA from 1998-2001. While there, his laboratory's goal was discovering and developing proprietary, cell-based therapeutics utilizing adult stem cells derived from adipose tissue. Before that pivotal role, Mr. Torfi was the director of Epithelial Autograft Facility at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California, which provided three dimensional tissue engineered skin and cornea for burn, diabetic leg ulcer and patients with ocular surface disorders.
A licensed clinical scientist in the state of California, Mr. Torfi holds an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and a graduate degree in Human Genetics. He has also published numerous papers and holds several patents in the stem cell and bioengineering field.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Zahedi - or "Dr.Z."; as he is commonly called - graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, where he received his Bachelors in Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Medical Physiology. Post-Baccalaureate, he worked as a research assistant at Genentech developing anti-cancer compounds, and later in nanoparticle research at the Sandia National Laboratory. He attended the Chicago Medical School where he completed his Medical Degree (M.D.) training with Alpha Omega Alpha honors designation. Dr Zahedi went on to complete his residency training at University of Southern California (USC) Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA with a focus in Dermatology. Post-residency, Dr.Z completed his Masters in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Zahedi has passionately pursued efforts to reduce the effects of pain and aging on his patients through early adoption of new technologies. He was one of the early adopters of cell based therapy for both anti-aging and anti-inflammatory indications, conducting research on preventing wrinkles and hair loss, scar reduction, enhanced post-traumatic musculoskeletal recovery, and reducing the burden of autoimmune conditions such as Psoriasis and Eczema. Dr. Zahedi is medical director for the Ageless Life Institute and My IV Therapy, with locations in Orange and Los Angeles County. He serves on the physician advisory board for Fruistreet Teleheath. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He has published numerous case studies, research projects and residency education improvement projects in local and national peer reviews scientific journals. Dr. Z is the recipient of the William Hearst Trustee Award for Outstanding Achievement, a Genentech Scholar and a National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholar finalist.

Dr. Gupta is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Anatomy & Neurobiology, and Biomedical Engineering and Chief of Shoulder Surgery in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine.
He received his undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his medical doctorate degree from Albany Medical College through the Accelerated Six Year Biomedical Program. He completed a general surgery internship, residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, and an NIH Post Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, Dr. Gupta completed fellowship training in hand surgery/microsurgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by an AO Fellowship in hand surgery/traumatology/shoulder at the University of Berne in Switzerland. He served in the role of Department Chairman for the University of California, Irvine from 2006 to the end of 2015. During his tenure as chair, the department rose from being ranked #128 by U.S. News & World Report to #40 and became the highest ranked specialty for UC Irvine Health.
