David Matousek

After graduating from Simon Fraser University in 2006 with a degree in finance, David has worked in corporate communications and as an investor relations professional with various corporations, identifying industry trends, and analyzing investment and valuation opportunities. David works with clients to build a tailored investment approach, that suits each individual clients' needs. Utilizing a wide variety of investment tools and products, combined with an intimate understanding of each client's financial goals and risk tolerance, David builds an investment portfolio appropriate to a client's timeframe, financial situation and general life goals. When not working, David enjoys staying active, spending time on the water and outside in nature.

Harold Leishman

Harold is a wealth management professional and third generation venture capitalist; and one-half of an avid set of parents to three terrific kids. Harold is the founder of the Leishman Group, which enables entrepreneurs to effectively access the capital markets to further grow the businesses and source strategic guidance. The Leishman Group also insures that as entrepreneurs succeed that they have top-flight advisory support to protect and further grow and diversify their new wealth. With the recent boom in technology ventures in British Columbia, Harold has taken a thought leader position in educating entrepreneurs in how to scale their ventures while simultaneously having liquidity events. By limiting his practice to a select number of families, he takes the time to understand his clients in a meaningful way and be responsive to their changing circumstances. He is diligent in the pursuit of client satisfaction and forthright in the discussion of results. Harold's earliest memories include passionate discussions between his father and grandfather, while he and his future entrepreneur brother looked on and judiciously contributed to the never-ending and always entertaining family business of finance and venture capital. Harold is a graduate of Mt. Allison University, where he majored in philosophy & literature. Upon graduation and a year of business exploration - trying his hand at a variety of enterprises, including being a "fishmonger" - he returned to Vancouver to work for his family business in venture capital. Harold remains actively involved in his community, currently he serves as the Chairman of the Stratford Hall Foundation Board of Trustees.

Julie travels extensively to provide face-to-face service both to international and local investors. Julie's community involvement started more than 15 years ago when she became a member of the Auxiliary Unit of the Canadian Coast Guard in West Vancouver. After her move to Vancouver she has been a part of numerous Charity organizations; Boat for Hope in support of Variety the Children's Charity, The Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Ball, the Canucks Autism Network working together with the West Coast Fishing Club on the Fishing for Kids annual Tournament and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC's Yukon - Nite of Hope North Shore. Julie received the Corporate Hero Award from Variety Club, recognizing a corporate friend who goes above and beyond.

With Steve's experience in personal insurance, financial planning, and stock trading he brings a diverse perspective and skill set to our team. This combination along with his decades of experience in the financial investment industry allows him to prove clients' wholistic solutions-oriented advice. Steve is, also, a licensed Registered Representative in the US, which allows him to assist American investors navigate the Canadian investment landscape. Steve is actively engaged with our team's financial planning clients. He understands each client's personal, family, and financial goals, then prepares a tailored financial investment plan. Together, with the client he develops a long-term strategy that encompasses all of their personal and financial goals, while maintaining a comfortable investment risk level. Steve is an alumnus of the University of British Columbia, where he studied Economics. He has continued his education through the completion of the Chartered Investment Management Program, the Professional Planners Course, and the Life Licensing Qualification Examinations (insurance). Outside of the office, Steve is an active member of Vancouver's golf community. He currently serves on the Executive Men's Club Committee at Vancouver's University Golf Club.
