With regards to my life before the year 2000, I think it is sufficient to say that having dropped out of A level studies in 1972, I spent the next 28 years in a variety of life and work experiences. Some good, some bad yet now, in retrospect, I feel all have been meaningful in giving me the very necessary experience and knowledge of life's ups and downs to enable me to do what I do now...
Following 4 years of study, training and extensive experience working with Mental Health, Substance Misuse and Families in Crisis in the community, I qualified as a Counsellor in 2004 and continued work in both the public and private sectors until 2012 as well as continuing my training as a Psychotherapist and developing my private practice. Following my completion of an MSc in Mental Health studies as well as further training in working with other mental health difficulties, in 2012 I became a full-time Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.
