BEALS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Beals Elementary School is a school of approximately 40 students that serves children in Grades Pre-K to 8th Grade. Beals Elementary School offers it students an educational experience that is enhanced through collaboration with the Downeast Institute for Marine Research and Education (DEI) of the University of Maine at Machias and also Island Readers and Writers (IRW). Students also have opportunities through hands on and collaborative learning in art, drama, science, history, and other subjects. Students in Grades 1-8 also have their own school issued laptops. Beals is a part of Maine School Union 103. High School students attend Jonesport-Beals High School in Jonesport, Maine... At Beals Elementary School, our goal is to create an environment that fosters a love of learning. Through collaboration, hard work, creativity, and fun, every student will achieve his of her full potential.
