Alyce Barber

Alyce is Community Development for Huntingdonshire District Council working with local residents, groups and partners to help build stronger communities. Alyce is an experienced Careers Advisor and Employability tutor, offering support and guidance to those wishing to change careers, return to work and progress through education and training. She offers 1-1 support for CV writing, preparing for interviews, including digital interviews and work ready skills.

Andrea Finbow

Andrea works for Groundwork East as an Employment and Community Project Supervisor, running projects in horticulture and landscaping for unemployed people to gain skills, experience and certified qualifications to help progress their career related goals. Andrea is a qualified Careers Advisor and offers one to one advice and support, including advice with job searching, writing applications and skills for interviews.

Carl Watkins

Christine Dade

Christine is a tutor and National Careers Service Advisor for Cambridgeshire County Council. Based at Huntingdon Learning Centre, Christine offers a range of support and guidance to anyone wishing to progress into employment or develop their career. This includes one to one assistance with CV writing.

Dawn Bere

Dawn uses local labour market intelligence to engage with employers and sectors that have the potential to create opportunities for job centre and EDGE customers alike. Dawn offers EDGE services to employers, offering to promote vacancies and deliver work experience placements. By securing job related skills training Dawn can help our customers meet employer requirements. Understanding local developments within the community helps her inform customers about large scale recruitment or redundancies.

Jane Mills

Jane is the Employment Manager for Groundwork East where she manages a team of staff to deliver employment programmes in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. With over 20 years of experience in supporting people with employment skills, Jane holds a Level 4 in Information Advice and Guidance as well as extensive knowledge in delivering workshops around interview skills, CV writing and job searching techniques.

Julia Young

Julia is Huntingdonshire Regional College's Information Advisor and the first point of contact for advice about college courses and general information for all ages attending college. Julia can advise on suitable courses, qualifications required and progression routes.

Julie is an Economic Development Officer for Huntingdonshire District Council with responsibility for skills. Through the EDGE Coordinator role Julie shares her knowledge with partners and works with educational establishments to help them prepare young people for the labour market.

Nathaniel Murphy

Nathaniel is an Economic Development Apprentice for Huntingdonshire District Council with responsibility for business administration at EDGE. In addition, Nathaniel identifies new job roles in the district and matches the skills listed with those of our customers, who are then notified of the job description and are able to apply if they think the vacancy is right for them.

Rachel Kelly

Rachel is the Development and Project Manager for Groundwork East, a community charity that, amongst other things, runs locally-led employability projects in a range of skills including horticulture and construction. Rachel has extensive experience helping long term unemployed people back into work.

Rebecca works for Urban&Civic, the owner and developer of Alconbury Weald and a founding member of EDGE. Urban&Civic is committed to supporting local people gain the relevant skills and careers guidance to make the most of the creation of over 8,000 jobs expected from the delivery and development of Alconbury Weald over the next 20 years.
