The fact that his parents were both academics shaped his personality by getting him interested in theoretical and scientific speculation... While studying at the University of Rome, he begun to collaborate with some of the major Italian artists in important record productions, and specialised in digital mixing long before the compact disc came out... In 1988 he founded the biggest digital mastering studio of the time, "Audiologic", where he made some of the most important masterings of Italian and international artists.
