Adam has over 20 years' experience in the delivery of landscapes and public realms across the UK. His background and experience have given him a unique approach to urban design, blending the disciplines of architecture and landscape architecture to develop holistic regeneration strategies, masterplans and design guidance for the revitalisation of urban areas. His work seeks to radically rethink and pioneer an environmental revolution in public realm design, promoting an ecosystem-led approach where people and biodiversity have equal importance.
Adam is a creative and passionate designer, which combined with his technical knowledge, gives him a track record for delivering innovative and distinctive public realm projects. He has extensive experience in complex urban projects and the management and coordination of multi-disciplinary design teams, through all stages of the design process including community engagement.
Adam has won two international design competitions: The St Cuthberts Garden Village Landscape Design competition, and the LI Transforming the Urban Landscape Competition with his inspiring Back Down to Earth think piece, which championed innovation in green infrastructure and eco-system-led planning.

Alan is a respected chartered landscape architect with over 20 years' experience analysing, planning, and designing landscapes for clients in the public and private sectors. Following a career working for multinational environmental consultancies and private design practices, Alan joined Gillespies in 2019, bringing with him a broad spectrum of project experience, including urban regeneration, residential development, historic restoration, large scale infrastructure projects and flood alleviation schemes.
Since joining the practice, he has worked at a variety of scales and stages of development including masterplan concepts in the Middle East, securing funding for Bolton Council's Public Realm Towns Fund bid, preparing LVIA chapters for large scale infrastructure projects and managing the landscape and public realm for Globe Road and Latitude Purple B, both build-to-rent developments in the South Bank area of Leeds. Alan also sits on the Professional Review Group for Leeds Beckett University representing the Landscape Institute, acting as critical friend and support to the Landscape Architecture academic team.

Alejandro joined Gillespies' in August 2021 as a Principal BIM Manager; he is responsible for the implementation, management and delivery of BIM and Revit for the practice's Hale and Leeds studios.
Alejandro is a qualified Part-II Architect with a Master's degree in BIM platforms and methodologies from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain. As a certified Autodesk Professional in Revit for Architectural Design, Alejandro is skilled in visual programming with particular expertise using Dynamo and Grasshopper to enhance and automate modelling and data management.
Before joining Gillespies, Alejandro worked at a leading architectural consultancy in Dubai for three years, where he was responsible for delivering 3D models on several large projects in Canada and the Middle East.

Alison has a keen interest in social and environmental landscape resilience, an interest she has applied to a range of important commercial, residential, and retail projects. She has helped lead on a diverse selection of national and international projects, covering all RIBA work stages. Her work areas include strategic planning, major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and environmental enhancement schemes, as well as mixed use residential and play design.
Alison has realised numerous schemes within the UK, Europe, Jersey, Uzbekistan, and Moscow, including a project which also won 'Best realized project of complex residential landscape design' at the 10th Russian National Landscape Architecture Awards in November 2019. Her experience includes earthquake recovery strategy design with lightweight structures, and the protection of conserving indigenous and sacred places in New Zealand.
Her key areas of interest are bio-secure planting design and inclusive play. She has considerable experience working with play designers, through concept design for inclusive play in the UK, Uzbekistan and Russia.

Alp Adal is an Associate with over eight years' professional experience. He joined Gillespies as a Senior Landscape Architect in 2017, with a keen interest in the relationship between development and natural environments, an interest he has been able to apply to commercial, residential and hospitality projects.
Alp has played a key role in leading the creative design response for several schemes in Russia, Cyprus and the UK, alongside challenging competition proposals in China and the Middle East. Notable projects include landscape design for the recently completed NEBO, a new residential-led mixed-use tower development near the State University in southwest Moscow, for client Capital Group, and Zaria Limassol, a new luxury resort located within the Pyrgos on the southern shoreline of the Cypriot Island.

Andy graduated from the University of Gloucestershire, and has over 15 years of professional experience. He has worked on a diverse range of projects in varied locations, developing a range of skills and a strong expertise in the coordination and project management of large-scale, complex commercial and infrastructure projects, as well as onsite delivery.
In 2014 he joined Gillespies and has completed work on all stages of landscape architecture projects from concept design through to implementation and completion. He is accustomed to working as part of multi-disciplinary teams on retail-led schemes including large projects such as Westgate Oxford, Ealing Broadway and Mill Green Designer Outlet Village.
Original from France, Armel Mourgue is a highly experienced landscape and public realm designer with over 20 years' experience in the design of award-winning UK and international projects. His versatile portfolio spans public realm regeneration, parks, residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, working across a range of scales and budgets.
Armel's designs explore the notion of introducing contemporary public spaces within the historic fabric of our cities, facilitating human interaction and promoting cultural expression. Each of his designs draws inspiration from the local context, character, tradition, nature and history of a site.
He has a particular specialism in the delivery of innovative elevated landscapes, being responsible for leading the designs of several unique sky gardens in London, including Crossrail Place Roof Garden, The Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street and the new Google Headquarters in King's Cross.
Armel manages the large team which is delivering the site-wide masterplan and subsequent phases for Elephant Park, the major regeneration of the Heygate Estate into a new green district in the heart of London, delivering around 2,500 new homes, shops and 11 acres of new public realm, including a central community park.
Armel is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Greenwich.

Specialising in wayfinding and signage design, Bill is passionate about transforming cities into more intuitive and engaging spaces. Through the strategic design and precise placement of architectural signage, he guides people seamlessly to their destinations while highlighting key landmarks and enhancing each place's unique identity. His designs ensure every journey is seamless, informative, and memorable.
Bill's extensive signage experience includes high-traffic environments such as business parks, visitor attractions, public spaces, and educational and healthcare facilities. This expertise has honed his ability to design effective wayfinding systems that address complex navigation needs. Notable projects include signage for a new community in North West Cambridge, Red Sea Airport and The Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi.

Cameron is a Principal Landscape Architect at Gillespies' London studio. He has played a vital role in leading and contributing to several pioneering landscape projects in London, spanning residential, mixed-use, and commercial sectors. Cameron has been involved at every stage of the design process, including overseeing and mentoring a junior team.
Recently, Cameron has been leading the public realm and landscape design at The Forge, which is the UK's first Net-Zero carbon commercial development situated in the heart of London's Bankside. Additionally, he is overseeing the delivery of landscaped terraces at 11 Belgrave Road, a modern and highly sustainable workplace in Pimlico that will maximise wellbeing and deliver a better quality of work-life for occupants.
Cameron has also been involved in the design and implementation of an extraordinary contemporary waterfront park for the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi, which will become a new cultural quarter in the Emirates.
He joined the practice as a Graduate Landscape Architect in 2016 and was later promoted to Principal Landscape Architect in 2022.

Ed is a Principal Landscape Architect with a keen interest in how green infrastructure can be incorporated into the public realm to make cities more sustainable and connected to the natural world.
Since joining Gillespies, Ed has worked on a number of significant and highly complex London-based projects that focus on improving health and wellbeing through access to high-quality open space and nature. These include a new square and sequence of green roof terraces for the multi-award-winning Centre Building redevelopment for the London School of Economics, and the much-anticipated Thames Tideway Tunnel, where he is responsible for delivering concept design for a series of new public spaces next to and even on the River Thames.
Most recently, he has been instrumental in the delivery of a highly accessible public realm and series of contemporary and socially beneficial landscapes for The Eight Gardens, a thriving new mixed-use neighbourhood in Watford for Berkeley Home.
Ed has a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Sheffield. He joined Gillespies in 2016 as a graduate and was promoted to Principal in 2022.

Eugenia is an award-winning landscape architect and designer. She has over 20 years' UK and international experience in the design and delivery of high-quality public realms and landscapes, for a wide range of clients and development types. Her particular expertise is in leading large projects with multi-stakeholder teams for public realm, residential, corporate and commercial developments.
Eugenia is interested in the integration of landscape and architecture, and the role landscape architecture and public realm can play in increasing social interaction and creating sustainable communities. Each scheme she has designed responds to its location and ‘genius loci' of the place, giving a space a character of its own. She has used her architectural knowledge and passion for contemporary design to deliver a range of pioneering public realm projects. Her detailed understanding of people, cities and movement leads to ‘people-focused' designs that are well-used and well-loved.
She has experience working with central London planning authorities, TfL, Crossrail, Network Rail, UK and international private developers and community organisations, on transformational projects across the globe.
Eugenia has designed and delivered several landmark projects known for their high quality landscape. These include the new Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the award-winning West King Street Renewal scheme in collaboration with RSH+P, the multi-phased Convoys Wharf masterplan, 141 Varshavskoe Shosse in Moscow, ATRIO Bogotá in Colombia, the new Westfield Milan, 30 Bay Street in Toronto, the recently completed Kensington Building in RBKC, and multiple Berkeley Group schemes, including Bermondsey Place Phase 2, Lea Bridge Gasworks and The Eight Gardens.

Giacomo, originally from Italy, joined Gillespies' London studio in 2014 after completing his Master's degree in Landscape Architecture. He is Head of Planting Design at Gillespies and a staunch advocate for using planting as an effective means to combat climate change and create atmosphere and character in urban environments. Giacomo's unparalleled expertise and deep passion for planting have established him as a distinguished and influential voice in the industry.
Giacomo is a skilful Principal Landscape Architect with extensive experience delivering landscape visions across an array of scales and sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure and education. His love and knowledge of planting design have resulted in him leading the creation of numerous planting schemes at Gillespies, as well as providing internal advice on projects. Notable projects include the multi-award-winning Elephant Park development in Elephant and Castle, the famous Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street and the innovative Crossrail Place Roof Garden in Canary Wharf. On all three of these projects, Giacomo tested alternative ways of combining plants to create habitat-specific micro-climates and designed plant communities that suit the specific character and environment. He also continues to support the owners in evolving these planting schemes by providing maintenance guidance.
Alongside his design work, Giacomo leads Gillespies internal planting group, supporting the team in improving their knowledge and delivering schemes that will be resilient, beautiful, and beneficial to the environment. Giacomo has been a visiting lecturer for seven years at the University of Greenwich, where he teaches Advanced Planting Design to MA students in Landscape Architecture. Giacomo is also a regular contributor to landscape blogs and journals and a frequent presenter at international horticulture events and conferences. He is currently undertaking a PhD in 'Shrub selection for urban dry sites in times of global warming' at the Technical University of Berlin.
