Marcella and Katherine met during their MSC teacher training at the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma California. One evening over dinner, a new friend introduced the two and they discovered that not only were they both on the same path with Mindful Self-Compassion, but both were dedicated students and teachers of yoga and working in the field of eating behaviors. It was an instant partnership and MSC Bay Area was formed. As Marcella had been a former MBSR student of veteran teacher Bob Stahl's, the pair began teaching the 8-week course at El Camino Hospital in fall of 2014. Since then, they have taught the program together 6 times and have undergone certification in MSC. They plan to get creative with the course offerings and bring you exciting new programs in the coming months...
