WNP is a grassroots organization committed to poverty reduction and the enhancement of the quality of life of Eastdale/ Cordage area citizens. Over the past 8 years, WNP has grown to include many different agencies and local community partners who have been identified as providing critical services to the neighbourhood. Members of the leadership team work collectively and collaboratively to avoid a duplication of services, conserve resources and provide an equal distribution of programming to the targeted area. This united ‘group' effort has created a foundation of trust within the team and in the community at large... WNP places a great emphasis on local leadership and strives to recruit, train and implement community leaders into many programs.
