Andrea joined Dr. Baltazar's office in 2017. She was born in Palo Alto, California but grew up in San Diego. She loves to watch the sunset, take pictures and enjoys doing makeup on her free time. Andrea will welcome you with a gracious smile and will make sure you have a wonderful experience at our dental office.

After raising three kids we've dealt with a lot of dentists over the years. Dr. Baltazar has got to be the best dentist our family has ever had. He's a no nonsense type of dentist that will only recommend necessary services. You can tell he is always happy to see his patients . His patients are loyal to him as we have many friends that have been seeing him for years. Our family, and now our adult children continue to use him as their dentist because of his extensive knowledge, years of experience, and above all else his honesty.
Dr. Wilfred Baltazar graduated from the University of California at San Francisco in 1981 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis. Dr. Baltazar continues to surpass the yearly requirement for dental continuing education courses for his own intellectual stimulation and the opportunity to provide the best patient care.
Dr. Baltazar has been in private practice in Mira Mesa for over thirty-two years and celebrates over thirty years at his present location. He is privileged to have had over three generations of patient referral in his dental practice. Dr. Baltazar has been a Regional Dental Consultant for Delta Dental Plan of California since 1992. He also serves as a Dental Consultant for the Dental Board of California Enforcement Unit in the Department of Consumer Affairs. Dr. Baltazar was recently awarded a Certified Dental Consultant with the American Association of Dental Consultants.
Dr. Baltazar was raised in Delano, a small farming community in central California. Toiling in the grape fields at an early age instilled a work ethic that served Dr. Baltazar well in later life. After attending USC on a full scholarship under the NROTC program, he served aboard the USS Samuel Gompers (AD-37) as a Naval Supply Officer.
Dr. Baltazar is married to Shirley Baltazar and recently celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary.They have two sons, Daryl and his wife Lauren and their son Bennett, and Doug and his wife Asli and their newest addition to the family, Paisley.
Dr. Baltazar enjoys playing handball, swimming, and golf; relaxes with a good book and watching sports; meditates with yoga; but everything seems to take a backseat when it comes to his grandchildren, Bennett, Paisley and Alison Rose.
