The EZ-Crimper is designed to crimp long-shell fittings with a bubble at the collar and a flare at the tail resembling Weatherhead "U" series couplings and similar hydraulic hose fittings. The bubble prevents the fitting from separating at the collar to eliminate leakage. The flare allows the hose to flex under pressure, by preventing the fitting from cutting into the hose to minimize premature hose failure...
