Mr Arbabi has a very keen interest in medicolegal cases and has provided expert review in very complex cases for many years. He specialises in corneal transplant, cataract & laser refractive surgery. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Leeds, and he was also awarded the prestige master's degree (MSc) in the fields of cataract and laser refractive surgery from the University of Ulster in association with Royal College of Ophthalmologists. During his eight-years Ophthalmic Specialist Training, he has gained a wealth of experience in hospitals across the United Kingdom. This includes completing one year of Advanced Sub-Specialty Training in Corneal and Laser Refractive Surgery at St James University Hospital, Leeds, and completing an extended corneal and refractive surgery fellowship at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He has an extensive research interest and published many papers in highly reputable and peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Refractive Surgery and British Medical Journal (BMJ). Mr Huzaifa Malick is a Bond Solon trained expert witness and works as a consultant ophthalmologist specialising in glaucoma and cataract surgery at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. He graduated from the University of Manchester medical school and subsequently undertook ophthalmic subspecialty training in North Wales, South Wales and the East Midlands. Mr. Peter Gray

Mr Gray graduated with a primary medical qualification from Cambridge University and also has a Master's Degree in Law from Cardiff University in the "Legal Aspects of Medical Practice". He has been awarded Fellowships by the Royal College of Surgeons and by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a Membership of the Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians. He is a respected and experienced ophthalmologist who, having worked in many prestigious centres of excellence in the United Kingdom, is proficient in all aspects of ophthalmology. In his military career he gained much experience with ocular trauma and that to the head & neck. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of external eye disease, especially in relation to ocular chemical injuries and has particular expertise in the ocular damage caused by the CS incapacitant spray deployed by the British Police, having been instructed as a single joint expert in many personal injury cases involving this agent. He has worked as a medico-legal adviser to the Defence Medical Services, where, as well as providing medico-legal advice to medical military personnel and drafting responses to ministerial questions, he was involved in the assessment and management of complex personal injury claims as well as issues of clinical negligence. He is fully conversant with the legal aspects of the consent process and all aspects of medical negligence. He has attended seminars on medico-legal report writing and specialist witness methodology with Hempsons Solicitors and regularly attends the medico-legal symposia of the London Consultants' Association.

Mr. Shahram Kashani

Mr Shahram Kashani is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at East Sussex NHS Trust and a Bond Solon trained Expert Witness. He is a general ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in complex cataract surgery with premium lens implants, and the management of challenging retinal disorders and ocular inflammation. He is currently the clinical lead at East Sussex NHS Trust as well as the lead for the diabetic retinal screening programme. Ms Bita Manzouri

Ms Bita Manzouri is a consultant corneal and cataract surgeon and the immediate past lead for the Eye Casualty at Queen's Hospital in Romford. She graduated from University College London with a first-class honours intercalated degree in molecular biology and biochemistry, for which she was given the University of London medal, as well as distinction in her medical degree. Prior to entering ophthalmology, she undertook general medical training to obtain her MRCP. She underwent her ophthalmic training at The Western Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital and undertook research leading to a PhD degree at the Institute of Ophthalmology. She has dual fellowship training in cornea/external disease and paediatric ophthalmology. She has also obtained the Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Certificate from Cardiff University. Ms Manzouri is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Barts & the London Medical School where she is actively involved in teaching of medical students as well as students in various specialities affiliated with medicine. She is also a reviewer for several ophthalmic journals and has herself published widely and presented at both national and international meetings. She holds a post graduate certificate in refractive surgery from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a post graduate diploma in cataract and refractive surgery from the University of Ulster. After graduating in medicine from the University of Cambridge, he trained as an ophthalmologist at Southampton Eye Hospital, the University of Bristol and Bristol Eye Hospital, St. Thomas' Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, and Moorfields Eye Hospital where he underwent fellowship training. Professor Claoué is currently a Council Member of The Academy of Experts. Professor Claoué has been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon since 1995 and has wide experience. He has published over 100 academic papers and lectured on 5 continents. He Consults in Harley Street and Brentwood, and occasionally does domiciliary examinations on request. In addition to being a native English speaker, he also speaks French and Spanish.
