Welcome to my wine and food blog. I love wine. Over the last 20 years I have learnt a lot about matching wine with food. There is nothing more disappointing than carefully choosing a wine and then discovering that it doesn't match your food. So, when I find a good match, I write about it on my blog. All of the food on my blog has been cooked at my home by my husband unless I state otherwise or have posted whilst on holiday... I did some studying at Adult Education but the best way to learn is by using the knowledge and experience gained about grapes, soil, altitude, climate, country and production method. There are many wine and food combinations that I try that do not make it onto my site because I often try to be innovative and endeavour to find unconventional pairings.
