TENANTS' UNION

The Manawat ū Tenants' Union was incorporated in 1983 for the purpose of education, support, and advocacy for families and individuals with tenancy issues. The organisation in effect facilitates housing stability. The Manawat ū Tenants' Union is a community development organisation with strong networks that include many social service providers, community development organisations, tertiary institutions, government agencies, housing providers, and individuals. It has a well-documented and established history of delivering problem solving services to individuals and families experiencing tenancy difficulties. The assistance provided varies according to client group and individual/family needs.
