Located in Toronto, Canada, the Hope lab is based at the University Health Network's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre... Our research program is focused on dissecting the molecular regulation that underlies the self-renewal of normal hematopoietic stem cells and their malignant leukemia stem cell counterparts. In doing so we aim to identify the processes that when dysregulated lead to leukemic transformation and relapse and therefore represent critical therapeutic targets... The Hope Lab, led by Dr. Kristin Hope, is based at McMaster University's Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute (SCC-RI). The research program is focused on dissecting the molecular regulation that underlies the self-renewal of normal hematopoietic stem cells and their malignant leukemia stem cell counterparts with the aim of identifying critical therapeutic targets.
