DR. PAUL GLYNN

The principal owner of Glynn Physical Therapy, Paul Glynn has over 20+ years of accomplished training and education. A resident of Lexington, Dr. Glynn graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BS in Exercise Physiology and went on to earn his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. In 2001, he completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Orthopedic Physical Therapy as well as his Doctorate degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Glynn achieved board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2002. In 2006, he completed his Manual Therapy Fellowship Training at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. In 2020, Dr. Glynn completed his graduate studies at Concordia University in Chicago, IL and is now certified as a Sports Nutritionist. He currently holds academic appointments at Evidence in Motion in Louisville, KY and is a lecturer at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Previously, Dr. Glynn has worked at Newton-Wellesley Hospital as the Director of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Services and most recently, in addition to his role in Glynn Physical Therapy, he is serving as the Director of Recovery at gWell Health, a service dedicated to genetically informed wellness and fitness. Dr. Glynn has published research in numerous peer-reviewed journals. To include; Physical Therapy Journal, Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Critical Reviews in Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine, Journal of Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Health Journal, and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He has authored numerbous textbook chapters as well as co-authored a textbook and application titled, Clinical Prediction Rules: A Physical Therapy Reference Manual which is used in many universities. He is an active researcher and national presenter in the field, a manuscript reviewer for multiple PT journals, an item writer for the PT National Examination, a member of the Orthopedic Specialization Academy of Content Experts, an associate member of the PT Federation Board, and the Chair of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) of Massachusetts' Practice Committee.
