After graduating from Kennedy-Bishop High School in my hometown of Conshohocken, PA; I attended the Philadelphia School of Art. It was through a steady request of commissioned work ranging from portraits of people and pets to rock bands and landscapes that I was able to support myself and pay for my education. However, as much as I enjoyed the creative process I knew I would not be content spending the bulk of my day sitting at a desk. In 1985, I started an apprenticeship with an established farrier. This profession proved to be a perfect fit; combining my creative energy with my love of the outdoors, animals, and physical work... Established as a sole-proprietor in 1992; I continue to genuinely and willingly share my depth of experience with clients and professional peers. I credit both my formal training and innate visual skills for enhancing each horse's comfort and movement through proper hoof balance and shoeing solutions.
