Since becoming a member of the Bar, Alexis Paquette-Trudeau's practice has been devoted exclusively to employment law and labour relations. In particular, he advises employers on the imposition of disciplinary or administrative measures, labour standards, termination of employment, the drafting of employment contracts and policies, occupational health and safety, and the interpretation and application of collective agreements. In addition, he acts as employer negotiator during collective bargaining and represents employers before the Tribunal administratif du travail, arbitration tribunals and the courts of general jurisdiction.
Alexis has taught the Health, Safety and Personnel Management in Construction course at the Université du Québec (ÉTS). He has published several legal articles and given numerous lectures and training sessions on various topics related to labour and employment law issues. Since 2020, he has been co-author of fascicule 17: Droit régissant la réclamation à la Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail, published by Lexis Nexis Canada, as part of the Santé et sécurité du travail volume of the JurisClasseur Québec, Collection Droit du travail. In 2023, he was a speaker at the Quebec Bar Symposium on Recent Developments in Labour Law.
He is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA) and holds an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke.

André Loranger is the founding partner and driving force behind the establishment of Loranger Marcoux in 1991, following a distinguished career with another major Montreal law firm. He continues to act in an advisory capacity, offering strategic advice to clients on labour relations and continues to share the wealth of his vast knowledge and experience of labour and employment law and the negotiation of collective agreements with other Loranger Marcoux lawyers.
In addition to the practice of law, André has lectured in law at both Sherbrooke and Laval Universities.

Ann Sophie Del Vecchio is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Montreal and joined Loranger Marcoux in 2007. Previously, she worked at the Human Rights Tribunal as an intern and a lawyer.
As part of her practice, she assists employers in the various fields of employment law and labor relations. In this regard, she provides strategic advice on the management of their business and works with them to find solutions to the issues raised, both in unionized and non-unionized contexts.
Given her expertise in human rights, she assists employers in the implementation of reasonable accommodation plans, particularly in matters of disability. She has in-depth knowledge of cases concerning excessive absenteeism, a subject for which she is frequently solicited.
Ann Sophie was named in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada, for her high-calibre work in labour relations and employment law.

Antoine Tousignant is a graduate of Laval University. During his studies, he had the opportunity to complete various internships in a professional environment, including at the Quebec Court of Appeal, which led him to develop a particular interest in labour law. As a research assistant, he also contributed to various projects on legal databases and administrative law.
Prior to joining Loranger Marcoux, Antoine completed his articling with the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse, which allowed him to put his research and drafting skills to good use and to make representations before the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal.
As part of his practice with our team, Antoine deals with questions and issues relating to all aspects of employment law, collective and individual labour relations, as well as occupational health and safety.

Béatrice Gaudet is currently a law student and holds a degree from HEC Montreal in Human Resources Management. Her education has provided her with a good understanding of the legal and organizational mechanisms that shape labor relations within companies.
Her background in human resources management and law has also enabled her to develop essential skills for collaborating on various mandates related to psychological harassment, pay equity, disability, and occupational health and safety.

Bénédicte Bergeron is a student at the École du Barreau du Québec, and a graduate of the Université de Montréal in both law and political science. Her academic background in the political and legal fields has allowed her to have a thorough understanding of the legislative processes that shape our legal framework.
Her studies in law and political science have given her the analytical understanding essential to interpreting labor laws in their political and social context. She is passionate about applying her theoretical knowledge to effectively resolve legal issues related to labor and employment.

Carl Panet-Raymond is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at University of Montreal. He also holds a certificate in Human Resource Management from HEC Montréal. Carl joined Loranger Marcoux in 1994.
He practices in all areas of employment law and labour relations, advising clients with respect to strategic human resource planning, corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions.
Carl was vice-chairman of the board of directors of Collège Jean de La Mennais for almost 20 years, where he also stood as president and vice-president. He has also been the secretary of the Comité au Canada de la Maison des Étudiants Canadiens à Paris for over 20 years now, and sits on the Paris Board of Directors of the Maison des Étudiants Canadiens à Paris.

Federica is a graduate of HEC Montréal in Human Resources Management and a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR). Passionate about labor relations and organizational conflict resolution, she pursued her studies by completing a Master degree in Dispute Prevention and Resolution at Sherbrooke University.
Prior to joining Loranger Marcoux, Federica acquired varied experience in key roles in human resources management. She started out as a generalist in a pharmaceutical company, before rising through the ranks as a human resources consultant and then director in the manufacturing sector. With eight years' experience, she has mastered a wide range of human resources management issues.
Thanks to her corporate background, Federica understands the complex realities faced by our customers. This expertise enables her to propose solutions that are adapted, effective and in tune with their specific needs.

Gabriel Gendron is a graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal in both psychology and law. His education provides him with a broadened perspective on the human aspect inherent in labor relations. Gabriel completed his professional training internship at Loranger Marcoux in 2024.
He has knowledge of collective relations in the parapublic sector. He is particularly interested in labor law in the context of delivering essential care and services.
As part of our team, Gabriel assists our clients with matters related to all aspects of employment law, collective and individual labor relations, as well as occupational health and safety.
Jade Tremblay holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from HEC Montréal. She is currently completing her bachelor's degree in law at Université de Montréal.
Jade has developed a strong interest in labor and employment law, which has led to her involvement with the Labor Law Committee of Université de Montréal, where she previously was Treasurer and Vice-President of Sponsorships and is now President.

Jean Leduc has been practicing labour, employment and administrative law for more than thirty years, and is a renowned litigator.
Jean has earned his reputation as an eminent trial lawyer in the fields of labour, employment and administrative law.
He frequently appears in hearings before grievance arbitrators, the Tribunal administratif du travail (the new Quebec Labour Relations Board) and in the civil courts.
Jean's active involvement in several labour conflicts has allowed him to develop a highly valued expertise in the field of injunctions, extraordinary recourses and prerogative remedies before the Conseil des services essentiels, whose powers have since been transferred to the Tribunal administratif du travail. Over the years, he has excelled as a specialist in applications for judicial review. In addition to his talents as a trial litigator, Jean regularly advises employers on employment and labour law issues, particularly with respect to reasonable accommodation in the workplace.
Jean is currently serving his third consecutive term as chairman of the Barreau de Montréal/Conférence des arbitres de griefs du Québec liaison committee. This committee, for which Jean acted as president during five years, has jointly produced the first Guide to Best Practices in Grievance Arbitration (French version only) with the Quebec Bar.

Jean-Claude Turcotte is a graduate of University of Montreal and has been part of Loranger Marcoux since its inception in 1991. He practices in the principal areas of employment law and labour relations at both provincial and federal levels.
Jean-Claude acts before administrative tribunals specializing in labour law and the civil courts. Throughout the years, Jean-Claude worked on questions related to the employer's duty to reasonably accommodate in workplace environments and also acted as an investigator in cases of claims related to psychological harrassement at work.
He also acts as strategic adviser on human resource management issues during corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and regularly works with US and Canadian law firms representing clients who conduct business in Quebec.
He also sits on the subcommittee of the grievance arbitration working in the Comité consultatif du travail et de la main d'oeuvre which is mandated to ensure the nomination of grievance arbitrators and the renewal of their registration.

Jean-François Munn began his career at the CSN, where he worked as in-house counsel and negotiator from 1972 until 1983. After being awarded a Master of Law Degree (Labour Law) by University of Montreal in 1983, he was appointed to the Priorities Committee of the Executive Council of the Government of Quebec. He subsequently worked with the Treasury Board, then as Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for Professional Relations at the Ministry of Health and Social Services. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Deputy Minister with the Treasury Board, he practiced with the Montreal law firm Desjardins Ducharme.
Jean-François joined Loranger Marcoux in 1995 and currently acts as negotiator on behalf of several major Quebec employers from the public, para-public and private sectors and appears as legal counsel before specialized tribunals and civil courts in labour relations matters.
He represents private sector companies working in agri-processing, insurance, communications, energy and tourism, banking and manufacturing.
From 2003 to 2007, he acted as chief negotiator for the Government of Quebec during both public and para-public collective bargaining sessions. He also led negotiations with specialist physicians and general medical practitioners, in addition to leading the Sûreté du Québec negotiations. Jean-François Munn represented the government in hearings before the Judges remuneration committee. In the federal area, he sits as a member of mediation and arbitration boards, including those hearings cases concerning the solicitors and prosecutors and the Canada border services employees.
Jean-François is a member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers. For several consecutive years, he has been recognized in "Best Lawyers in Canada" for his outstanding services rendered in the field of labour and employment law.

Since being called to the Bar, Micheline Bouchard has practiced exclusively in the field of labour law, serving employers in the public, private and para-public sectors.
Although Micheline regularly represents her clients before various administrative tribunals, her practice is mainly devoted towards the negotiation of collective agreements.
She frequently represents and advises employers on issues related to harassment in the workplace, and has contributed towards the drafting of institutional policies and provided training on this issue.
Micheline is frequently invited to speak at conferences and leads workshops where she shares the wealth of her expertise in handling issues such as chronic absenteeism, poor performance and meeting the employer's duty to reasonably accommodate.
