Annette Perez

Annette Perez is the Director of Accounting for Alvarez & Marsal Property Management. Annette brings over 10 years of commercial and residential real estate experience to the AMPM team and is responsible for the day to day accounting as well as Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial reporting. Annette earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a Minor in Business from St. John's University in Queens, NY and a Master's degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Chris Woelfle - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Financial Officer
Chris Woelfle is the Chief Financial Officer for Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments. Chris brings over 25 years of Finance and accounting experience to the AMPI team and oversees all Debt and Finance functions for AMPI. Prior to joining AMPI, Chris was President of Novamet Specialty Products Corporation, a Vale Inco Company, where he managed the successful sale of the business in May 2010. He prepared the company for divestiture by implementing financial improvements and manufacturing efficiencies and conducted management presentations to help prospective buyers understand the company's business and financials. Chris earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Seton Hall University and a Master's in Business Administrations in Accounting and Corporate Finance.

Dana Giragosian

Dana Giragosian is a Tenant Relations Coordinator and Leasing Associate for Alvarez & Marsal Property Management. She is responsible for overseeing leasing operations, and executing the Tenant Relations Program across AMPM's client portfolio. Dana's skillset has enabled AMPM to grow its Tenant Relations Program and overall level of tenant engagement by focusing on the creation of new and exciting tenant events and communications. Prior to AMPM, Dana worked with Uber as their Office Manager, Security Specialist, and Receptionist. Dana graduated from The University of St. Francis with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and spent 7 years as a teacher prior to joining Uber.

Geno Kasmer

Job Titles:
  • Property Manager for Alvarez & Marsal Property Management
Geno Kasmer is a Property Manager for Alvarez & Marsal Property Management ("AMPM"). Geno is responsible for portfolio level operations, management of building staff and third-party vendors, financial, budget and audit preparation, lease negotiations, as well as tenant relations. Geno has 12 years of commercial real estate experience managing over 3.5M square feet of office product in the downtown Chicago market. Additionally, Geno has extensive building renovation experience including the construction of a 500,000 square foot Class A office building in Chicago. Geno earned his M.S.R.E in Commercial Real Estate from Roosevelt University with Honors, earned an M.B.A. from Northeastern Illinois University with Honors, and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from DePaul University with Honors. He is a licensed real estate broker and earned the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Accredited Professional O+M designation. He is also a member of the Chicago Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Energy and Sustainability Committee.

Grant Schoenthaler

Grant brings more than 10 years of experience to AMPS and is a co-founder and a Partner of Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments, a vertically integrated commercial real estate firm under Alvarez & Marsal, Inc.. Grant oversees all operations and financial aspects of A&M Family-Owned properties, manages a team of over 30, and oversees five service lines' operations. Grant's expertise is company & portfolio management, operational risk management, and investor/lender relations for the real estate business. He has been a part of $300+ million in acquisitions and established back-end protocols and practices across multiple companies. Grant attended the Jack Welsh School of Business at Sacred Heart University.

Jake Stegenga

Jake Stegenga is an Analyst for Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments. He is responsible for providing financial analysis support for Transaction and Portfolio Management. He also assists with daily operations of AMPI through construction oversight and property-level budgeting. Jake graduated from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Finance.

Jeffrey Goodman

Jeffrey Goodman is an Associate at Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments ("AMPI"). Jeffrey is primarily responsible for sourcing new deals, acquisition due diligence, transaction management, and portfolio management. Jeff brings to the team expert and creative financial modeling and portfolio analysis. Prior to joining AMPI, Jeffrey spent 6 years at Lubert-Adler Real Estate Funds where he was responsible for acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management and capital fundraising. Jeffrey earned a B.S. in Management from Indiana University.

Joshua Kellerman

Joshua Kellerman is responsible for overseeing leasing operations for Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments. Mr. Kellerman brings to his position more than 12 years of commercial real estate experience and has completed more than 300 transactions. Prior to joining AMPI, Mr. Kellerman served as Director of Leasing with Newmark Knight Frank, where he focused on leasing part of the John Buck portfolio in the Chicago Business District, along with managing other third party accounts. Mr. Kellerman earned his Masters in Real Estate (MSRE) at Roosevelt University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Management at Indiana University. Mr. Kellerman is also an active member of the Chicago Office Lease Brokers Association (COLBA).

Justin Garrison

Justin Garrison is a Property Manager for Alvarez & Marsal Property Management. Justin has 13 years of commercial real estate experience managing over 2.6M square feet of office product in the downtown Chicago market. Under his leadership, Justin's buildings won numerous accolades including multiple BOMA TOBY awards for The Outstanding Building of the Year in Chicago and the US and most recently won the International BOMA TOBY in 2018 for his work at the Boeing building in Chicago. Justin brings a strong accounting background and attention to detail while overseeing the planning and execution of financial reporting and capital improvement projects for his Clients. Justin earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Catawba College where he also played 4 years of Division II lacrosse. Justin is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Illinois as well as a LEED Green Associate.

Kevin Halm

Kevin Halm is responsible for overseeing property management operations for Alvarez & Marsal Property Management. With over 10 years of commercial real estate experience, he has demonstrated the ability to implement successful asset management strategies on behalf of building owners and stakeholders. Prior to Alvarez & Marsal Property Management, Kevin spent 9 years with CBRE where he was property manager for several strategic client accounts. In this role, he oversaw day to day operations at prominent Chicago office buildings. Kevin also held a role with a nationally recognized post-secondary education firm where he oversaw facilities management nationally and had key roles in leasing and construction management. With over 11 years in commercial real estate, Kevin has worked on assignments up to 1.5MM square feet on both local and national levels. Kevin earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Kevin is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and on the Board of Directors. Kevin earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through BOMI International and the LEED Green Associate designation through the US Green Building Council.

Michael Marsal

With a primary focus on leasing, Michael oversees the placement and alignment of new tenants within AMPI's portfolio, while also developing and managing the firm's growing asset management team. Prior to founding AMPI, Michael oversaw development, acquisitions, and management of various Alvarez & Marsal, Inc. investments. Additionally, Michael founded DRCC Automotive, a high-end automotive dealership and service facility that heavily focused on motorsport. Michael graduated from LaSalle University, earning a bachelor's degree in Marketing. Outside the office, Michael remains passionate about motorsport, restoring vehicles for both on- and off-road racing. He also enjoys skiing, hunting, and participating in different outdoor activities. Michael currently resides in Millbrook, New York with his wife & children along with their hunting dogs. Michael is involved with several charities, including The Millbrook School, Various Land Conservation Associations, Northeast Organic Farming Association, Teen Living Program, and The New Group. An invaluable part of the AMPI team, Michael continually brings his high energy, passion for design, and excitement to create every day.

Patrick Timperio

Patrick Timperio is an Associate on the acquisitions team at Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments ("AMPI"). In this role, he is responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring, and executing investments across all asset classes. Prior to joining AMPI, Mr. Timperio worked at the Moinian Group reporting directly to the EVP on their New York portfolio. Patrick received a B.S in Finance and a minor in Accounting from Fairfield University. He resides in New York City, enjoys outdoor sports and traveling.

Pete Kontos

Pete Kontos is a Director with Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments and oversees design and construction projects throughout the portfolio of AMPI. With over 14 years of experience in new construction, commercial interiors, rehabilitation and residential development - Pete is responsible for the project management, design and construction management of capital and tenant improvements. Prior to joining AMPI, Pete was a project director for over 13 years with Chicago-based Partners by Design - specializing in corporate interiors and completing a diverse range of projects including technology firms, base building improvements, law firms and multi-location global corporate clients. Mr. Kontos is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois and earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Peter Papadakos

Peter Papadakos is a New York City based Analyst at Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments ("AMPI") primarily responsible for research into new and existing markets as well as financial analysis. Additionally, Peter assists the acquisitions team in underwriting and due diligence for all new investments. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University in New York. He is currently working towards earning his Master in Real Estate Development from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University with an expected date of completion May 2022.

Rory McCarthy

Rory McCarthy is a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments ("AMPI"). Rory oversees acquisitions and operations for AMPI in the Denver and Mountain Region. Prior to joining AMPI, Rory was a Manager within the Alvarez & Marsal Real Estate Advisory Group ("REAS"). At REAS, Rory focused on client related real estate due diligence, underwriting analysis, cash flow modeling, valuation and market research for a variety of property types across multiple markets. Rory earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Victor Alvarez

Victor primarily oversees strategic direction, deal sourcing, underwriting and portfolio management for AMPI. Prior to founding the firm, Victor served as a Director with Alvarez & Marsal's North American Commercial Restructuring practice, where he represented clients and lenders throughout different stages of the restructuring process across a range of industries. Furthermore, Victor founded Lucky Tree, LLC, an early stage venture platform committed to innovation. Victor earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Tulane University. In his spare time, Victor enjoys spending time with his wife and three children at his beach cottage in Maine. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ and Endowed the Spark Innovation Program at Tulane University, Victor has a personal stake and is actively involved in various charities. Providing support through his strategic and creative thinking with his financial background, Victor is an integral part of the AMPI team.

Zach Kutsher - Chief Legal Officer

Zach Kutsher is the in-house General Counsel for Alvarez & Marsal Property Investments handling all of its legal and transactional needs. Zach brings over 16 years of real estate experience to the AMPI team and has been responsible for over $10B in real estate transactions in connection with the purchase, sale, workout, financing, refinancing and leasing of commercial, mixed use, distressed and residential real estate properties throughout the U.S. and abroad for private equity shops, institutional lenders and investment banks. Prior to joining AMPI Zach practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Duval & Stachenfeld. Zach graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and cum laude from Fordham University School of Law where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review. Zach was admitted to the New York Bar in 2000.
