RIVER NENE COTTAGES

River Nene Cottages are three self catering holiday cottages hosted in an old Grade 2 Listed converted barn that was originally built in 1805. We are located on the banks of the River Nene (Lock 29) in the small hamlet of Water Newton just outside Peterborough and just off the A1 heading north towards Wansford and Stamford, Lincolnshire... Originally from Zimbabwe we moved to Mill House in 2012 having spent 15 years in London after leaving Zimbabwe in 1999. It took us two years to acquire the three cottages that were once part of Mill House. We then undertook the project of bringing them up to date with new bathrooms, refreshed kitchens with new white goods, and new decor. We opened our doors on 16th February 2016 and have since enjoyed seeing our guests marvel, relax and enjoy what we have created for them here on the river.
