Dr. Jeffrey Coil

Dr. Coil is the Director of the Graduate Endodontics Program, Department of Oral Biological and Medical Sciences, University of British Columbia, and the mentor of the Northwest Endodontic Study Club and Seminar. He received his undergraduate, dental and doctorate/PHD degrees from the University of British Columbia. He practiced general dentistry for 8 years and was a Clinical Instructor in Endodontics and Periodontics, before obtaining his certificate in Endodontics at the University of Washington in 1993. He serves as an editorial consultant for the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association and on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Journal of Endodontics. He is a past President of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics, member of the British Columbia Society of Endodontist, Canadian Academy of Endodontics, and the American Association of Endodontists, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Academy of Dentistry International, American College of Dentists, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Mehdi Noroozi

Dr. Mehdi Noroozi, Canadian fellowship qualified and board-certified specialist in Periodontics, attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, Canada. After several successful years in private practice, he completed an intense three-year surgical specialty residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where he received extensive training in contemporary treatments of periodontal diseases, cosmetic oral plastic procedures, dental implants and reconstructive surgeries leading to a Masters degree in craniofacial science with focus on dental implantology, as well as a specialized diploma in postgraduate periodontics and implant surgery. Dr. Noroozi is a graduate of the advanced autogenous bone and soft tissue grafting course by Prof. Khoury from Private Clinic Schloss Schellenstein GmbH and University of Münster, Germany.Dr. Mehdi Noroozi has been the recipient of numerous prestigious academic awards, including "The Canadian Academy of Periodontology Prize" for the most outstanding student in clinical Periodontology and "William R. Jackson Award" for excellence and superior ability in clinical Prosthodontics. He was also among the few to be awarded twice the "UBC DMD Graduate Teaching Assistant Award" in 2013 and 2014, in recognition of his excellence in teaching. Dr. Noroozi maintains his status of specialist in good standing, as Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (F.R.C.D.C) and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology recognizing him as a leader in the fields of implant dentistry and periodontics. He is a fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, and active member of Canadian Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, International Team for Implantology (ITI), Academy of Osseointegration, BC Society of Periodontists and BC Dental Association. Dr. Mehdi Noroozi is the founder and director of the Envision Periodontics and Implantology Core (EPIC) study club and Vancouver ITI Study Club dedicated to providing dental professionals with advanced continuing dental education in periodontics and implant dentistry at its highest level. Dr. Noroozi has several publications in different fields of dentistry and presented research at several national and international conferences. His research interest focused on the outcomes of implant therapy in patients with self-reported penicillin allergy. As a certified specialist in periodontics and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Noroozi is involved in formal training of student dentists. To be at the forefront of the most recent advancements in periodontics and to provide his patients with the highest quality treatments, he was certified in Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation™ and will be one of the pioneers of this revolutionary gum rejuvenation technique in Vancouver and Canada. Dr. Mohamed Gebril

Dr. Gebril is a Prosthodontist and Full-time Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. He is focused on rehabilitating failing dentitions with dentures and state-of-the-art implant solutions. He applies his expertise to treat every patient with full attention and care to provide his patients with healthy and aesthetic smiles. Dr. Gebril is a Full-time Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. He is involved in didactic teaching, clinical education and research with the Graduate Prosthodontics Program at UBC as well as the DMD Program. Dr. Gebril maintains a Prosthodontist position in private practice along with his teaching, research and clinical supervision duties where he provides prosthodontic treatment for his patients. Dr. Gebril is also involved in continuing education on both national and international levels with different courses in digital dentistry and prosthodontics. Dr. Gebril received his Master's in Craniofacial Science and post-graduate specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of British Columbia, his dental degree from Alexandria University and his master's in biomedical engineering from Western University. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Prosthodontics.
