SHANE WOOLMAN

Shane Woolman is a London-based DJ/remixer/producer who works at The Wire magazine, hosts shows on Resonance FM New New World + DJs as part of The Wire Soundsystem... Always with an ear to the ground for new and unusual tracks, his sets are an eclectic mix of dub, electronic, psych, bass, hip-hop, techno, rock and funk, unearthing leftfield party bangers, unknown dub edits, archive Turkish psych and long forgotten classics. He has provided DJ support for Andy Stott, Hieroglyphic Being, Nkisi, Sun Araw, Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids, The Necks and Matana Roberts at venues such as The Jazz Cafe, Cafe Oto, The Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall and The Cube in Bristol, as well as playing standalone sets at festivals like Supernormal (UK) in 2016 and 2017, Fields (Russia) in 2019, Stihia (Uzbekistan) in 2023 and MENT (Slovenia) in 2024.
