Echosim.io was launched in 2016 to help developers test their skills without access to a physical device. It became a reliable, trusted partner in our skill development journey. Over the past few years, a new crop of tools have emerged that offer more integration, more opportunity, and more features. The testing simulator in the Developer Console emerged with voice and text input, full visibility into the request and response payloads, and even an APL simulator. There are also a large number of external Alexa development tools that provide fantastic experiences for skill building.
