Charlesworths specialise in high quality, small quantity plastic injection & compression mouldings in all thermoplastic and thermosetting materials. Willie J Charlesworth first set up business 1897 in Washwood Heath Birmingham producing small tools and bicycles. Before long he was machining plastics plugs & sockets for the emerging wireless industry. This lead to him forming Charlesworth Mouldings with three of his sons, Percy, Leslie & William. By 1941 with the retirement of his father, Percy with his son Cyril set up on their own as Charlesworth & Son which over 70 years later is still being run by his family... One hundred years later, while we continue to use traditional materials and processes that would be familiar to Willie J, we also strive to utilise the latest advances in materials and processes.
