Dr Heidi Haavik

Job Titles:

Dr Heidi Haavik is a chiropractor who has also gained a PhD in human neurophysiology. She has recently released the book ‘The Reality Check: A quest to Understand Chiropractic from the inside out'. This book describes in easy to understand language what happens in the brain when a chiropractor adjusts dysfunctional segments in the spine. The book is based on cutting edge neuroscience research performed over the past two decades (the book is available @www.heidihaavik.com). Dr Haavik also runs a company that enlightens the world about the science of chiropractic (@www.therealitycheck.com). Dr Haavik has used her neurophysiology expertise to study the effects of adjusting subluxations on the function of the central nervous system. Specifically, she has utilized techniques such as somatosensory evoked electroencephalography and transcranial magnetic brain stimulation to investigate the effects of chiropractic adjustments of vertebral subluxations on somatosensory processing, sensorimotor integration and motor cortical output. Dr Haavik graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 1999, and has practiced chiropractic for over 17 years. She was awarded her PhD degree by the University of Auckland in 2008. She is the Director of Research at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic where she established and runs the Centre for Chiropractic Research. Dr Haavik was a member of the World Federation of Chiropractic's Research Council for ten years. Dr Haavik has received numerous research awards and has published a number of papers in chiropractic and neurophysiology journals. She has presented her work to both chiropractic and neuroscience communities around Australasia, Africa, North America and Europe. She is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Journal of Chiropractic Education, Chiropractic Journal of Australia and is a Review Editor in Movement Science and Sport Psychology for Frontiers in Psychology and Sports Science. She was named Chiropractor of the year in 2007 by both the New Zealand Chiropractic Association and the New Zealand College of Chiropractic Alumni Association. Dr. Brinsley Lane

Dr. Brinsley Lane describes himself as a chiropractor by day and a comedian by night but the truth is he wouldn't know how to be a chiropractor by day without an ongoing injection of humour.

Dr. Clinton McCauley

Dr. Clinton McCauley has been a practicing Chiropractor for over 21 years and in that time has owned and worked in practices in remote, rural and regional areas. He graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1995. He initially started his practicing career in Whyalla, SA and was thrown into the deep end and created a very busy practice dealing with many types of people. He then moved to Mackay, Nth Qld and used those skills to build a large family-based practice and helped serve the community. In 2007, he relocated to Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills and has had his main practice there for the last 10 years. He also serves the Murray Bridge region with a practice there and also has a satellite practice in Meningie, SA as well. Clinton has served on the board of The Chiropractors Association of Australia (SA). Clinton's passions are sharing his life and chiropractic messages to the world and to help as many other people. As such he is also a coach and mentor to many other chiropractors, helping them to live their dreams and serve their communities. He is passionate about life and strives to help and support as many people as possible to live their dreams and to have fun along the way.

Dr. Craig Foote

Dr. Craig Foote is a chiropractor of 20 years' experience. He is a co-founder of the Nervana Chiropractic Group and owns and operates his practice with his wife Cath in Perth Western Australia. An Award winner, he and his team have won service awards and in 2012 he won a prestigious "40 under 40" award, which identifies the top 40 business people in the state un-der 40. Craig has been coaching chiropractors for the past 10 years and in recent times has been coaching under his label "Chiropractic Flight School." Craig currently has coaching cli-ents in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. When he's not coaching, running a practice and being father of three he also is the current President of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation.

Dr. Eric McKillican

Dr. Eric McKillican is a second-generation Chiropractor, one of six Chiropractors in his family. He has owned and operated family wellness practices for over 27 years. Also, Dr. McKillican has completed postgraduate certification studies in Sports Injuries in 1998, Pediatrics through the ICPA in 2000, completed the Legion of Chiropractic Philosophers (LCP) course and a diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophy, recently he has completed training in adjusting animals.

Dr. Jeffrey Herbert

Dr. Jeffrey Herbert is a chiropractor of 33 years' experience. Graduating from Palmer in 1985 he and his wife Dr Jean Laing immigrated to Australia on an opportunity. Upon arriving in Australia, he quickly recognized that the only way he was going to survive professionally was to learn how to communicate what chiropractic was to his patients. He has a master practitioner level status in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a certificate in Advanced Behavior Modeling (ABM). He is the Inventor and Developer of Bionomic Seating Solutions, a patented award winning Seating System based on Spinal Biomechanics and Neurophysiology that has been recognized by the Australian Government as a Medical/therapeutic device which is registered with the TGA. He owns and operates his practice with his wife Dr Jean Laing in Melbourne. Is father to two grown children.

Matt Caratelli

Graduating in 2017 Dr. Matt hit the ground running, moving all the way to North West Queensland where he built a family/wellness practice from scratch. There Matt became a well-known advocate for spinal and nervous system health appearing in the local newspapers, radio and local events in a town he'd previously never set foot in. Now living back in Melbourne Dr Matt has now recently opened Thrive Chiropractic in Elsternwick in what most people say in a saturated area despite Thrive's ever-growing success.
