Brooke Sexson joined the firm in 2023 as a staff accountant. She was born and raised in Bend, OR and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Portland State University. Brooke is a US Army veteran and completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona while serving. Brooke moved back to Bend after leaving the military and is actively working towards obtaining her CPA license. Outside of work Brooke enjoys spending time with her daughter, doing jigsaw puzzles, and playing roller derby.
Caitlin grew up in Longview, Washington. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 with a degree in accounting, and again in 2013 with a Masters in Taxation. She worked for a tax firm in Seattle for six years, receiving her Washington CPA license in 2016. Caitlin moved to Bend in 2019, and received her Oregon license at that time. Caitlin is both an AICPA and OSCPA member and has a wide range of experience including working with high net worth individuals, small business owners, real estate development, rental properties, and various startup. In her free time Caitlin enjoys being outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, camping, or cross-country skiing. When not outside she likes spending time with her daughter, her two cats, and brewing beer with her husband.
Kirsten Habermann is an accountant who has been working with the firm since 2020. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois while maintaining leadership roles in two separate clubs. Kirsten obtained her CPA license in November 2022 and is currently an AICPA member. Outside of work she enjoys training her dog in competitive agility, hiking, climbing, canyoneering, skiing, snowboarding, and traveling. Kirsten is on two advisory boards in town as well as a huge advocate for Bend Emerging Talent.
Kristin Wigle is the owner and has been working with the firm since 2003. Born and raised in Bend OR, Kristin attended the University of California at Berkeley and earned her bachelor degree at the Haas School of Business. She swam competitively for Cal at the national level. Upon graduation she worked at Ernst and Young LLP in the audit department, but also spend time in the mergers and acquisitions group. Kristin became licensed in 2003, moved back to Bend, and began working with Tom. In 2015, she became a partner, and in 2021 she became the owner of Riley Wigle CPAs LLC. Kristin is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA and occasionally hosts seminars for other CPA's. Outside of work Kristin enjoys spending time with her two daughters, serving on a parish finance council, enjoying Central Oregon's restaurants, running, and enjoying lake life.
Linda O'Donnell joined the firm in October 2024. Linda was born and raised in Myrtle Creek Oregon. She attended college at Linfield University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Before coming to Riley Wigle, Linda worked for a fractional CFO agency. Linda is a seasoned finance and operations professional with experience driving efficiency and growth for diverse organizations. She has expertise in financial planning, budgeting, month-end close and regulatory compliance. Linda is a member of the Institute of Mangaement Accountants (IMA). Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with family, hiking, biking or spending the day at the lake. Additionally, Linda loves to read and take nightly walks with her husband.
Meah joined the firm in 2023 as our Office Manager. Meah grew up in San Luis Obispo CA, and Reedsport OR (a tiny town on the southern Oregon coast), and in Las Vegas. She studied Human Development and Family Sciences at Oregon State University - Cascades and there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't use what she studied while interacting with people in her daily life. She's a nerd who's excited about things like organization, workflows, systems, and processes. When she's not at work you can find Meah reading mystery books, spending time with her family and teenager, and hanging out with her cat Nala. Meah enjoys roller skating, pilates and hiking.
Sami Fournier joined the firm as a staff accountant in October 2024. Sami was born in Ohio but grew up in Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas where she majored in Poli Sci and German. Sami was a veteran of Washington DC, where she spent 10 years as a political analyst in International Relations/Arms Control. Additionally, Sami earned a master's degree in International Affairs/International Security Policy from Columbia University. After graduation she spent 5 years working in NGO's at the UN. Sami became licensed to prepare taxes in 2017 and received her EA in 2020. Ouside of work, Sami loves to bike, hike, knit and XC ski. She is a newish motorcycle rider who dabbles in dirt biking. Every year she enjoys volunteering in the community with non-profit groups such as Bend Film.
Tom Riley is the founder of Riley Wigle CPAs. He has fully retired at this time.
