H 2 O Software started business in 1996 with the release of the first version of the H 2 O Report Generator. It was developed by a water treatment chemist and certified water treatment plant operator, with more than 40 years' experience in both the municipal and consulting sectors of the industry. Our goal at the time was to provide a means for Public Water Supply Systems to store all their current and historical process and water quality data in a local database that could then be instantly accessed for evaluating process operations, generating process and regulatory reports, and engineering future treatment processes. The H 2 O Report Generator provided a single database for storing all the flow, level, chemical feed and water quality data that is generated by a Department.
