After completing her Criminology and Criminal Justice degree with a 2:1, Amelia joined Admiral Law in May 2019 as a Fast Track claims handler, working on behalf of clients on low-value road traffic accident claims. Amelia then jumped at the opportunity to join the Clinical Negligence Team as a Case Assistant in July 2021.
Amelia's main responsibility is to support the team's solicitors by requesting and reviewing records, liaising with experts and clients, drafting instructions to experts and counsel, drafting witness statements and obtaining and considering evidence in support of financial losses, amongst other things. Amelia also deals with a small case load consisting of some of the more modest value clinical negligence claims which, alongside her case assistant role, gives her a very broad range of experience. Amelia has a real passion for the work that she does and her aim is to qualify as a lawyer in the future.
Outside of work, Amelia enjoys going on long walks with her boyfriend and their dog Nala. She also enjoys cooking and baking and most of her free time outside of work is spent doing just that!

Angharad has been handling personal injury claims since 2008. She has acted for both Defendants and Claimants over a wide range of claims including RTA, Employers Liability and Occupiers Liability Act matters.
She joined Admiral Law in 2014 with the Fast Track RTA claims department and has progressed through dealing with complex RTA claims before joining the Specialist Liability Team dealing with non-RTA injury claims on behalf of Claimants.
Angharad is a Graduate member of CiLEX.

Anila handles personal injury claims ranging between £25,000-£100,000.
Anila joined Admiral Law in 2012 and worked as a paralegal until she undertook her training contract qualifying as a solicitor in January 2018.
Anila has extensive experience in general civil, commercial and personal injury litigation. Anila's wide ranging years of experience within the civil litigation arena means she is well versed with the litigation process and always takes a pragmatic approach to guiding her clients and driving their cases to conclusion.
Anila is aware of the many challenges that face seriously injured clients and remains passionate and deeply committed to providing a great service to all of her clients including addressing each client's rehabilitation needs as early as possible.
When she is not working Anila enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending Pilates classes and listening to a good podcast.

Beth is a Qualified Accountant, who has been a part of the Admiral Group since 2013, joining Admiral Law in 2018.
She works closely with the Operational areas, to provide strategic financial insight and guidance, to support business decisions.

Caroline graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in law and went on to work as a legal secretary before undertaking her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford. She joined a national law firm in 2001 as a solicitor in the Claimant Motor PI group. She then moved to head-up the Claimant Non-Motor Personal Injury group in 2003 and then the Defendant Insurance group in the newly opened Cardiff office in 2008, before being made partner in 2012.
Caroline is now the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice in Admiral Law, and a director of the business. She is responsible for client satisfaction as well as all matters compliance, regulatory and risk-related within Admiral Law.
In her spare time, Caroline enjoys spending time with her sons, travelling, reading and doing the odd spot of yoga, running, cycling and open water swimming.

Carys joined Admiral Law in March 2023, having previously worked in Admiral Money for 3 years.
Carys is graduating from The Open University in June 2024 with a degree in Criminology and Psychology and hopes to further advance her studies by undertaking a Master's in Law or Crime and Justice.
Carys joined the Serious Injuries Team in Admiral Law as a Case Assistant, where she spends her time supporting clients and helping fee earners throughout the life of their claims.
In her spare time, Carys enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her dogs and travelling.

Ceri has been a litigation solicitor for over 25 years specialising in personal injury. Ceri represents clients who have sustained serious injuries as a result of a road traffic accident, from initial instructions through to settlement or trial. Her cases range from significant fractures and psychiatric injuries to chronic pain disorders and traumatic brain injuries with life changing effects.
In addition, Ceri assists with mentoring, training and dealing with technical queries within the Serious Injury Team and other areas of the Business.
When she is not litigating Ceri enjoys yoga and Pilates and spending time with her family.

David is our in-house costs specialist. He has worked in legal costs since 1994.
During the early part of his career, he was employed as an external costs draftsman. He moved in-house in 1998 and has remained there ever since. He has worked for a High Street firm with a Legal Aid franchise, a large-full service commercial law firm and a firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence law. David has acted for both claimants and defendants. He currently specialises in multi-track costs management.
Outside of work, David enjoys family time, music, sport, videogames and walking his dog.

Denice joined Admiral Law over ten years ago after working within the legal sector since the age of 17.
She has a keen eye for detail and has a ‘can do' attitude, Denice provides invaluable support to the Serious Injury Team by carrying out a broad range of case assistant work which includes dealing with clients, other side solicitors, counsel, and insurers.
Denice enjoys foreign travel, rugby, spending time with her family and a good glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc!

Elin joined Admiral Law in April 2016 as a Paralegal within the Negotiation Department, having previously specialised in the recovery of Care Home Fees and subsequently Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Administration of Estates.
In 2018, Elin completed her CILEX qualifications to become a Chartered Legal Executive within the Serious Injuries Team. Elin then continued her studies, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2024.
Elin works with Clients who've sustained Serious Injuries following Road Traffic Accidents, Public Liability incidents, and accidents at work. Elin works with Clients to secure access to early rehabilitation and settlements reflective of often the life altering injuries sustained, ensuring any future considerations are also accounted for (including impacts on work, pensions, care and future treatment). Elin is determined to secure the best possible settlement for Clients through either utilising her negotiation skills or at trial.
Elin enjoys a varied caseload with typical values ranging from £25,000 to £250,000 and above, and particularly enjoys dealing with technical medical issues, which include traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, complex orthopaedic injuries, hearing and audio vestibular injuries, chronic pain and functional neurological disorders.

Emilie graduated from Cardiff University with a Law and French degree and went onto start her career as a Defendant Paralegal. She joined Admiral Law in 2016 at which point she became a Team Manager in the ULR team. She then moved into the Insurance Legal Services Department as a Team Manager in both Recoveries and Defence Litigation. Emilie has spent time as an Operations Manager within our Claimant Litigation department, and is now our Operations Manager for our Hybrid Department, where we handle ULR, MOJ, LVI and OIC claims.
She loves seeing people develop and progress in their careers. It's really important for her to understand what makes people motivated and to focus on people's strengths to ensure we get the best outcomes for our clients.
Outside of work, Emilie loves spending time with her family, travelling and spending time near the beach.

Emily is a qualified Barrister and cross-qualified as a Solicitor in October 2009. Her main practice area is serious and complex injuries arising from Road Traffic Accidents. Emily joined Admiral Law on 1st May 2013 as Team Manager for the MOJ & Fast Track claims department and progressed into her current role in October 2016.
Emily's day-to-day role entails managing a team of experienced solicitors who handle complex and high value personal injury claims, offering strategic and tactical advice to handlers on liability, quantum and tactics. Emily is responsible for identifying high value claims within the business and ensuring Admiral Law achieve the maximum and best compensation for each client. Emily has led a number of business critical projects aimed at delivering productivity and efficiency.
Outside of work Emily spends her time with family - she has twin boys who are actively involved in competitive swimming. Emily therefore spends her weekends by the swimming pool either for training or galas.

Ffion has 7 years of experience acting for Claimants in personal injury claims resulting from road traffic accidents.
Ffion Joined Admiral Law in 2015 as an advisor in the New Client Unit and has worked within Admiral Law's Non-Fault, Disputes, and Complex teams. Ffion completed her CILEX qualifications in January 2022 and progressed into her current role in June 2022.
Ffion represents clients who have sustained serious injuries and associated losses that are worth up to £100,000.00 and takes great satisfaction in supporting clients through what can be a difficult experience, securing the treatment and compensation they need to move on from the accident.

Francis graduated from the University of Wales Aberystwyth with a History Degree in 2005. He joined Admiral Group later that year as part of the Personal Injury Graduate Scheme, which specialised in road traffic accidents. After several years working in various parts of Admiral's Claims Department, Francis moved across to Admiral Law in 2013.
Francis is the Automation Operations Manager and oversees Admiral Law's Automation Team, having a wealth of experience of working in Project Management and Business Change.
Outside of work, Francis enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two pugs! Whenever he has spare time he can be found running and keeping active.

Harriet joined Admiral Law in October 2022. Prior to joining Admiral, Harriet gained 13 years' experience working as an Executive in the Personal Injury Department of a national law firm, developing expertise in employer's liability, occupier's liability and public liability cases, with a particular specialism in civil assault claims.
Harriet manages a case load of predominantly multi-track road traffic accident litigated and pre-litigated cases, representing clients who have suffered serious and significant injuries.

Helen is a Solicitor with 13 years' experience in personal injury work, predominantly focused on road traffic accident claims, but she also has experience in employer's and public liability and CICA claims.
Helen joined Admiral Law in May 2013. Her current case load consists of claims worth up to and above £1million, involving fractures, pain conditions (such as fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome), brain injuries, psychological symptoms and fatalities.
Helen actively participates in the SIT charity work, volunteered at Headway Cardiff and being involved in a variety of fundraising activities. Helen is also a member of Apil.
Helen enjoys meeting clients face-to-face as she describes building a rapport with them and their families early on in the claim. She finds satisfaction in securing compensation for seriously injured clients, to get them the treatment they need.
Helen is married with a daughter and enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading crime novels

Jackie has been with the company since we opened our doors 1st May 2013. She is the Operations Manager for our New Client Unit where she was a Team Manager for 5 years and the department trainer. Prior to Admiral Law Jackie worked for another Cardiff based law firm after graduating from Cardiff Met University with a degree in Business and Management.
With 18 years experience in customer service Jackie is passionate about providing a high level of client care to all of our clients. To do this she strongly believes it is important that our staff feel fully supported and enjoy what they do.
Outside of work Jackie enjoys spending most of her time with her family and is usually found on a farm or in soft play at the weekends with her toddler.

Jessica achieved her undergraduate degree in medical science at Swansea University before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law with Merit. Jessica joined Admiral Law, straight from University in 2016 as a Paralegal in our MOJ department, progressing her way through our complex pre-litigation and complex litigation teams before qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and joining our Serious Injuries Team.
Jessica's main practice area is serious and complex injuries including spinal injuries, tinnitus, chronic pain and psychological conditions.
Outside of work Jessica is a keen runner. She enjoys rock climbing, swimming and paddleboarding. Most weekends you can find her down the beach or watching the football.

Jessica is a Specialist Liability Case Handler. She has been working in this role since September 2021 and deals with a variety of cases including vulnerable road users, Employers Liability, matters under the Highways Act, Occupiers Liability matters and assault claims.
Prior to this, Jessica has had roles in the MOJ department dealing with liability admitted RTA cases. She has also worked in the post-limitation department, handling claims that were over 3 years old and often involving complex injuries and court proceedings. Jessica joined Admiral Law in 2017 and has progressed through several departments before joining the Specialist Liability Team.
Jessica is currently completing her Level 6 CiLEX qualification.

Jodie is a Solicitor and Operations Manager for the Serious Injuries and Complex Department.
Jodie qualified as a Solicitor in April 2015 and before this time had spent many years working within a Serious Injuries Team in Cardiff specialising in orthopaedic, amputation, fatal and spinal cord injuries. Following qualification Jodie specialised in running her own caseload of serious injury claims with a particular interest in orthopaedic and fatal injuries; she has worked closely with many families who have sadly lost a loved one following an accident.
Jodie joined Admiral Law in 2016 as a Solicitor within the Serious Injuries Team; offering personal and professional advice to clients. Following her time with the Serious Injuries Team, Jodie progressed to manage the Complex Litigation Team before starting her role as the Serious Injuries Operations Manager in 2020.
Jodie strives to do the very best for clients. She encourages a team approach to maximising client settlements in order to achieve the best possible result for our clients, whilst at the same time offering exceptional client care. Jodie also enjoys mentoring and supporting our staff, and making sure everyone has the opportunity to develop and grow in their roles.

Kate qualified as a solicitor in September 2010 and is member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers). Kate has been working within the Serious Injuries Team at Admiral Law since January 2014.
Since qualification, Kate has acted exclusively for Claimants who have suffered serious injuries as a result of road traffic accidents.
Kate is experienced in handling claims involving brain, spinal and serious orthopaedic injuries, as well as acting for families who have lost loved ones as a result of road traffic accidents.
Kate has secured settlements in excess of £1,000,000.00 for a number of her clients.
Kate also has experience handling MIB uninsured and untraced driver claims and complex loss of earnings claims, including self-employed Claimants and members of the Armed Forces who have been discharged early on ill health grounds.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys shopping, eating out and spending time with friends and family.

Katie joined Admiral Law in 2017 as a qualified Lawyer, following her move from the South Coast of England to Wales.
Before that, Katie had worked at a specialist personal injury firm in Sussex for the past 13 years, and since 2007 had worked exclusively within the catastrophic injury department. Katie represented clients suffering specifically with brain and catastrophic injuries/fatal claims, arising from road traffic accidents, assaults, accidents at work etc. She has continued that degree of specialism into Admiral Law where she represents some of our most seriously injured clients.
Whilst in Sussex, Katie had been actively involved in running the Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum (SABIF) for a number of years, and also acted as a volunteer for the local Headway (Brain Injury Charity), supporting those who had suffered a brain injury. She also has experience of working closely with Victim Support. When she moved to South Wales, Katie established links with Headway Cardiff and has been a regular volunteer at their drop-in centre at Rookwood Hospital. She has also participated in a variety of fundraising events.
Out of work Katie has recently become a mum to her son, Toby. She spends much of her spare time with friends and family and enjoys long walks with her dog, Louie
Katie joined Admiral Law in 2020 as a Case Assistant for the Serious Injuries Team. Prior to that, she started her career in Admiral Insurance in 2014, working as a Senior in the Data Validations department.
Katie now supports our case handlers by providing exceptional service to our clients, and helping to assist them throughout the life of the claim.

Keely joined Admiral Law in 2015, having previously worked for Admiral Insurance since 2010, defending Personal Injury Claims. She has a great deal of experience in handling various types of Personal Injury claims, as well as supervising and running Personal Injury teams and departments. Keely is now our Head of People, Learning and Development.
Keely believes that the key to success is creating an open and accepting culture, where people have the tools and means to develop themselves. The more we invest in our people, the better equipped they are to look after our clients

Kerry is a Solicitor and Team Manager of the Complex Litigation Team.
Kerry qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has extensive experience in running her own caseload of Personal Injury claims and well as supervising junior members of staff. Kerry joined Admiral Law on 1st May 2013 as Team Manager for Training, Audit and the Accident Damage Team. She has also worked as a Litigation Team Manager before moving to the Complex Department in 2019.
Kerry's role involves overseeing claims with complex areas of fact or law, complex injuries (to include permanent orthopaedic and/or psychological injuries, chronic pain, need for pain management treatment and tinnitus), fatal accidents and/or claims which require capacity assessments. Kerry offers technical guidance and support.
Outside of work Kerry spends most of her time attending sporting fixtures cheering on her two children!
Kerys joined Admiral Law in 2016, having previously represented Admiral Insurance, defending Personal Injury claims on behalf of their policyholders. Kerys has over 10 years' experience in Personal Injury Litigation and has previously worked for the UK's largest insurer, as well as an international retailer defending employers and public liability claims, and, product liability claims. Kerys is now the Operations Manager of the MOJ portal claims department, the company's largest department.
Kerys prides herself on her client care and believes it is at the heart of everything we do at Admiral Law. Kerys enjoys mentoring and developing our staff and relishes seeing them become the best that they can be.
Away from the office, Kerys enjoys spending time with friends and family and travelling.

Laura qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and has specialised in claimant personal injury ever since. Laura initially started her career as a solicitor dealing with mainly road traffic accident claims before moving on to specialising solely in clinical negligence claims on behalf of injured patients in 2012.
Laura joined Admiral Law in January 2020 and, since that time, has run her own caseload of high value and complex clinical negligence claims. Laura deals with all types of cases, including orthopaedic claims, gynaecological claims, delay in diagnosis of cancer claims, amputation claims and stroke claims. Laura has also dealt with very sensitive fatal claims, neonatal deaths and claims involving babies that are stillborn.
Laura is very client focused and always strives to do the best job she can for all of her clients.
Laura is married and has two young boys. In her spare time, she enjoys fine dining and socialising with her family and friends, when not running around taking her boys to their various sporting activities!

Lauren joined Admiral Law in May 2013. Lauren is a Solicitor in the Serious Injuries Team and represents clients where they have sustained serious injuries and consequential losses that are worth up to £500,000.00.
Lauren previously worked at a personal injury firm and a busy high street practice, undertaking personal injury, family law and childcare work. Following qualification she decided to specialise in personal injury and has helped a number of clients secure life-changing levels of compensation.
Lauren's role at Admiral Law sees her enjoy varied and challenging work. Many of her client's lives have been significantly affected by the accident they are involved in and she obtains great satisfaction in achieving the settlement they deserve. While compensation is the ultimate goal, the rehabilitation process is the primary concern and Lauren has secured treatment plans and interim payments at the earliest stages that allow her clients to move away from the accident.
Outside of the office, Lauren is a mother to a busy two year old and rescue dog called Roxy.

Lauren obtained her law degree from Cardiff University in 2015 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) the following year. Lauren joined Admiral Law in August 2016 as a member of the New Client Unit, she then moved on to Tier 3 before joining the Fast Track Department in June 2019 as a case handler, where she gained experience representing clients with a variety of injuries and liability disputes.
In December 2021 Lauren joined the Serious Injuries Team as a Case Assistant, where she spends her time supporting clients and helping fee earners throughout the life of their claims.

Lewis works as a solicitor in Admiral Law's Serious Injuries Team. He joined Admiral Law on its inception in 2013, having gained extensive experience in personal injury at another Cardiff based firm.
He has experience of a wide range of Personal Injury claims, including Employers Liability, Public Liability and Occupier's liability claims. Since joining Admiral Law, Lewis predominantly works on claims arising from road traffic accidents where the financial value is in excess of £1million.
Lewis bring a breadth of knowledge into the Serious Injuries Team and provides guidance and support to several of the junior case handlers as well as other departments within the firm.

Marcus is a Chartered Legal Executive and Team Manager of the Complex-Specialist Liability Team. Marcus joined Admiral Law in June 2016 having previously worked at other personal injury law firms in the Cardiff area for the past 15 years.
He specialises in recovering compensation for victims of employer's liability, occupier's liability, road traffic accidents, product liability, criminal injuries, sporting injuries as well as injuries caused as a result of defective highways.
As the Complex-Specialist Team Manager, Marcus is responsible for supervising a small team of aspiring lawyers in which he provides technical guidance, advice and assistance when required.
Marcus is a husband and father of 2 children. Outside of work Marcus can be found on rugby pitch officiating for the WRU (having retired from playing) or watching his sons.

Matt is our Head of Operations and Insurance Legal Services, which covers our New Client Unit, Business Change, Business Intelligence and our Recoveries teams. He joined the company in 2014 having previously worked for Admiral Insurance since 1998, working in both the Service and Personal Injury area.
Over his career Matt has a great deal of experience of working within the contact centres within Admiral Insurance working within the New Claims and Service Departments plus handling and managing liability disputed, non-fault and high value Personal Injury claims. Matt believes looking after both our Staff and Customer is critical to what we do here at Admiral Law.
Outside of the office, he enjoys running, following Cardiff City and spending as much time as possible with his young family.
Michael is the current Head of Admiral Law, has worked with the Admiral Group since 1995 and was involved with the founding of Admiral Law.
He is involved in the overall management of the firm, is involved in catastrophic injury claims and is our technical director.
Michael has four children, three dogs, two cats and a singing thespian wife who writes poetry. Life is full. In his spare time, Michael likes to run (when his knees allow), trap (but never kill) moths and fail to identify fungi that he finds.
Michael has been involved in most aspects of motor claims of all sizes, from both Claimant and Defendant perspectives, but other claim types too.
He has lectured and trained in various areas of law including funding, costs, retainers, policy interpretation and indemnity issues.

Michael is a solicitor in the Serious Injury Team and has extensive experience of personal injury litigation.
He specialises in recovering compensation for victims of employer's liability, occupier's liability, road traffic accidents, overseas accidents, as well as injuries caused as a result of defective and harmful products, focusing on higher value and serious injury claims.
Michael says, "I offer personal attention, use plain language and provide practical and impartial advice. I recognise that any serious accident or injury claim is a traumatic time, and will do all that I can to ensure that my clients can rest assured that their best interests are protected and that their lifelong needs will be met in the case of serious and catastrophic injury or negligence."
Michael moved to South Wales in 2000 from the Republic of Ireland and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in October 2010. His interests include sport, music and film.

A qualified solicitor since 1990, she has handled all types of personal injury claim for over 25 years. Although she has many years of experience acting for insurance companies in defending claims against employers, drivers and the owners of premises, she has acted exclusively for injured claimants for over 10 years, specialising in claims for clinical negligence.
Nadine is experienced in handling high value and complex claims including representing a client who was confined to a wheelchair as a result of an injury at work and required an adapted home, as well as acting for clients with serious head injuries and sight loss.
