VMware announced yesterday it's framework for the VCP6 Certifications, which consists of 3 new exams - vSphere 6 Foundations, VCP6-DCV, and VCP6-DCV Delta. All 3 exams are currently in beta, and you must meet the requirements to take the exams. If you're a current VCP / VCAP / VCDX holder, you should be able to get the authorization you need to schedule the exam... Looking to kick off some study and develop a study guide, I decided to look for a blueprint. There isn't a PDF blueprint to be found, but there is a HTML breakout that covers sections of the exam, and the related objectives. There's a lot of content, and a lot of new items to cover. PSC, VVOL's, vSAN, it's all in there. 75 Questions, 90 minutes, $50. Sounds fun! Stay tuned for a study guide, I'd like to cover a section or two per day... It should also be noted this is a beta exam, and as such, the rules are a little different. You won't receive a score right off the bat, it may take a while. Also, looks like there's more..
