I am a Colorado native and my passion of pediatric dentistry began at a young age. Shadowing my own awesome pediatric dentists inspired me to follow in their footsteps. I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where I studied Psychology. Thereafter, I received a Bachelor of Science and completed dental school at The University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine. While completing my pediatric dentistry residency at Children's Hospital, I earned the nickname "Spanish speaking Elsa" and was also appointed as Chief resident. I enjoy teaching future pediatric dentists serving as adjunct faculty at Children's Hospital dental residency program.

Yesenia Gomez was born and raised in San Francisco, California. Her husband and her family moved to Colorado 18 years ago. Yesenia been a dental assistant for over 10 years, she attended Concord Career College and is currently furthering her education to be an EDDA. Yesenia has 3 beautiful kids, and when she isn't working she loves to spend time with her family and explore the outdoors.
