The FCCA is a Federal Communication Commission (FCC) certified frequency coordinator for ALL public safety frequencies, including those in the 700 MHz and 800 MHz bands. We provide a full range of radio communications services for forestry and conservation agencies, police, fire/EMS and local government...
As initially chartered, we served only the Forestry Conservation (PO) and, later the Local Government (PX) radio services. In this capacity, the FCCAs main function was to assist federal, state, and local governments in public safety two-way radio operations by locating suitable frequencies within specified operating areas, recommending their assignment to the FCC for licensing, and protecting them once authorized.
