Steven Conners founded Conners Wealth Management as an Independent Financial Advisor in 2009. He brings more than 30 years of experience to this role, including multi-year experience as a member of the Performance Council at Smith Barney, a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley, and a VP of Investments at Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, Steve was General Manager for his family's $100 million dollar TV/Appliance chain. This is where he learned the practical aspects of running a business, including financials, operations and sales/administration. During this time he began to analyze companies, understand the evolving nature of the financial markets, and became adept at synthesizing the multitude of information available to investors into clear, relevant and easy to understand information. Steven's passion is to help people improve their financial preparedness by applying tactical strategies to reach a desired outcome. First and foremost, he is committed to upholding a fiduciary standard for his clients. He always ensures that his clients understand the effects of market volatility and the importance of proper asset allocation and diversification based on risk tolerance and time horizon. Steven studied finance at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and is a registered representative with his Series 7 and 63 registrations with CoreCap Investments, LLC, a registered broker-dealer and member FINRA/SIPC. Steve also holds his Series 65 registration with CoreCap Advisors, LLC, a registered investment advisor. He uses stock, bonds, mutual funds, and other instruments to assist his clients in achieving their financial goals. Besides security licenses, Steven is also a certified estate planner (CEP) and is licensed to sell life and disability insurance. Steven immensely values the quality time he spends with his sons Matthew and Spencer. He enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, and exercising in his spare time. Steven grew up in the Northeast and lived in San Diego before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona where he now resides and has been appreciating the beautiful desert landscapes. He strongly believes in giving back to important causes that make a difference for others and is a regular contributor to the Phoenix Children's hospital.
