Everything and anything can be used as a teaching mechanism. Toys, household items, food, books, the park, everything. There is no reason why learning cannot be as fun an experience as possible. We go to museums, aquariums, play games, and do art projects. As soon as we're able we're going to put Orion in classes for karate, music, dance, swim, and rock climbing. We want to nurture his interests and allow him to explore the world fully... This site is for our homeschool. Currently Orion, our son, is at the preschool level. You can see what we've done so far, and what we plan to do, our reasons for this, and recommended books as well as a journal we keep.
