We also want to thank Brad Gass, our current Facility Manager, for his service to West Lawn UMC. Brad is resigning from his position due to health concerns, and we ask that you keep him in your prayers during this time... With some of those funds, we've fed homeless children in Port-au-Prince, purchased 50 new beds for relocated homeless persons in Reading, framed two new homes for Help Build Hope, and assisted the church in Tanzania providing famine relief. We have fed the hungry and clothed those in need through New Journey Community Outreach, funded shelter ministries at Hope Rescue Mission, Opportunity House, and City Light Ministries. Additionally, we support Helping Harvest, Little Acts of Love, and provide vital support for the homeless through Family Promise and Hannah's Hope. And last year, you helped found a new organization, Refresh Berks, a team of people who provide mobile shower and hygiene services to the homeless of Berks County... We are a church that keeps Jesus..
