The Rotary Club of Heidelberg is involved in many overseas projects. We were part of a Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) Team working in the Solomon Islands. The project involved constructing a malaria monitoring station at the end of Guadalcanal... What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio…... Like in any club, fellowship is an important factor of a well run club. We pride ourselves that we are able to not only work together on projects but enjoy each others company socially. We plan many events during the year.
