Popoyo Surf Lodge was founded in 1999 with a bold vision to bring the amazing sport of surfing to a country that was completely unknown to the surfing community. More than two decades later, PSL continues to be Nicaragua's premiere surfing destination. We'd be stoked to host your surf trip, share our knowledge with you, and make sure you are surfing the best waves in Nicaragua. We have seen many changes over the last 23+ years we have lived and surfed in Nicaragua, but PSL has only gotten better. Our legacy continues!... At Popoyo Surf Lodge we offer the most extensive, hard core surf packages of any other surfing operation in Nicaragua. We start at 5:00 a.m. and surf until dark. We stop only to eat and sleep and perhaps enjoy a cold beer or Flor de Cana Rum drink. The abundance of surf breaks in our area allows for surfing virtually all day...
