Graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Cumbria having previously completed a degree in Sports Rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in sports rehabilitation and incorporates his knowledge into his own gym training. He also has a keen interest in football and rugby.
Judy qualified in 1981 from The Queens College, Glasgow. She gained her musculoskeletal experience working in the NHS in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Carlisle before moving to a small private hospital where she was the Physiotherapy Manager of a team of musculoskeletal physiotherapists. She has completed MACP Spinal Mobilisation Course part 1 and Cyriax Foundation Orthopaedic Course and in 2009 the 80 hour Foundation Acupuncture course allowing her to become a member of the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapists and recently attended the course Musculoskeletal Injuries in Young Athletes.
Shiona Hattle qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2012. She gained her experience as a rotational Band 5 Physiotherapists at St Helen's and as a Musculoskeletal Band 6 at Lancaster. She has worked part time in Private Practice since 2015 gaining valuable experience in the treatment of Musculoskeletal problems with hands on treatment combined with electrotherapy and exercises to suit her patients.
She has completed the Acupuncture Association Foundation Course for the treatment of pain and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Shiona trained with the City of Carlisle Swimming Club and competed to National level. Her interests now revolve round her two children and she enjoys going to Cross fit.
We have part time receptionists who cover the clinic between 08.30 till 13.30 Monday to Friday.
