Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad is a registered charity (1173282) solely run by student volunteers. We encourage students of Bristol University to make a difference in developing countries through overseas volunteering whilst working hard to raise awareness of international development within the UK. BVDA is also recognised society of the University of Bristol Students' Union... Our mission is to inspire and empower students to take part in sustainable international development projects. The safety of our volunteers and the communities we work with is our number one priority. Although we were unable to send students abroad with our partners in 2020 and 2021, we're still absolutely determined to make a meaningful difference... We're a student-led society and charity championing Bristol Uni students to make a difference in developing countries through volunteering, fundraising and engaging students with sustainable international development.
