Aliu A. Bello - Managing Director

Aliu is a retired international civil servant, Founder and Managing Director of CCBED. Aliu has over 20 years' experience delivering multi-million-pound public health and humanitarian programs for UNICEF and a further 10 years of management consultancy experience, contributing to the design and evaluation of child survival and development projects. He is currently a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs UK. Aliu is a staunch believer in the power and benefits of vocational education, based on his own lived experience. His passion is to help adult learners become job-ready, with ample job opportunities, and reduce the gap between education and employment.

Olu Ben Lloyd-Shogbesan

Ben is a director at CCBED with over 30 years' professional experience advocating for appropriate and responsive services for marginalized and disenfranchised groups in the community. Ben has held roles in NHS Commissioning, Local Government and Community Services, Community Mental Health, Asylum & Immigration services, and as Oxford City Councillor. He has extensive experience shaping policies, designing, and implementing social prescribing and delivering culturally appropriate services. Ben is passionate about developing the practical skills and resilience of learners, for managing change and achieving personal goals. He is a keen believer of equality of access to opportunities and services.
