BOOTHSDALE

Boothsdale stud was formed in September 2002 with the purchase of our first mare - Pantymel Buddig (Poppy) - from the Clwyd sale. In 2003 Poppy foaled a colt foal Boothsdale Brudiwr (Sid). He was shown successfully (including foal champion Nantwich and 6th at the Royal Welsh) prior to being sold at Fayre Oaks... We aim to breed a section A that fits the breed description in all respects. We are tending to concentrate on Revel bloodlines aiming for a pony with bone and substance but still elegant and able to move. They say that no-one has ever bred the perfect pony but we are certainly enjoying trying!... We are aiming to breed traditional Welsh Mountain Ponies with quality and movement yet retaining bone and type.
