Gerald has spent over 15 years developing income strategies for retirees that focus on providing income while helping to preserve from principal loss. His sole focus is creating retirement plans that deliver income, provide less risk without the concern of market volatility, and help address longevity. Gerald started his career in the insurance industry as an agent for Prudential before forming his own company, offering life insurance, mutual funds and variable annuities. Later, he developed an administration company, Healthmax, which offered self-funded health insurance plans and workers compensation alternatives. In 2001, he opened Baum Financial Services to focus entirely on fixed annuities and retirement income strategies. Throughout his career, Gerald has presented his retirement income strategies concepts to thousands of individuals to help assist them in overcoming their retirement income challenges. Gerald has his life insurance licenses in Florida and Texas and also holds a property and casualty insurance license. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida and a Master of Management and Master of Musical Arts from Yale University. Outside of the financial business, Gerald is also a real estate developer. One of his projects is a luxury vacation community in Costa Rica. He resides on 40 acres in a Frank Lloyd Wright-developed home in Brooksville, Florida, where he raises and shows Paso Fino horses. He also indulges his musical talents in his in-home recording studio, where he composes, performs and records classical and new age music. While his family is small with people, it is large with animals. They are dedicated to finding joy and laughing together at least once a day.
