EVERGREEN PROPANE - Key Persons
Debbie moved to Middle Georgia with her family at an early age and quickly adapted to all the things that make the South a great place to live and raise a family. As life would have it, Debbie met Tommy on a blind date and the rest - four children and 6 grandchildren - is history. Debbie is very active in her local church and Women's Ministries. She plays a large part in making Evergreen Propane truly a family-run company. She handles HR functions, provides a lot of the creativity needed to ensure the company runs smoothly, and takes on the role of being the voice of the customer.
Tommy has spent his entire life in Middle Georgia where he raised his family, is watching his grandchildren grow, and continues to be involved in the community. Tommy is currently a board member of the Better Business Bureau of Central Georgia, served several years on the board of Windsor Academy, and serves on various committees as well as a board member of his church. He is also a past president of the Georgia Propane Gas Association.
Tommy has grown up in the propane industry. At an early age, he would ride with his father when he delivered gas and eventually worked his way up to manage several locations for a national propane company. Eventually, Tommy came to believe that there was a better way to service and care for propane customers in Middle Georgia. In 2012, he found an opportunity to start his own propane company and, with a partner who also grew up in this area, bought Wilson Farms Propane in Forsyth, making it into Evergreen Propane. This acquisition was the springboard for Tommy to expand into Macon, Warner Robins, and the rest of Middle Georgia. Evergreen Propane has become the company he always wanted - one that treats their customers like family.
