VFWA

Our mission is to promote the preservation and safe recreational use of the Schuylkill River bounded upstream by the Valley Forge National Historical Park and downstream to the Norristown Dam. The organization will provide leadership and encourage unifying efforts from all individuals and organizations that share our purpose, concern and mission... Since its inception, the VFWA has taken on numerous projects to preserve and protect recreational activities on the Schuylkill River. Our goal is to continue to monitor, preserve, and protect the area from new threats as they arise.
