S & M Nix Enterprises, LLC. was started in 2005 by the owners, and my parents, Steve and Moira Nix. It was started with the sole purpose of installing electric for Harrison County REMC. The operation was started with one backhoe, a single axle dump truck and trailer, a Ditch Witch trencher, and a Dodge pick-up truck. Their sons, Kyle (Me) and Clayton, were both in school. I was attending Purdue University and Clayton was still in high school at North Harrison Community schools... With precision and innovation, S & M Nix specializes in directional boring, offering underground solutions that pave the way for seamless utility installations without disrupting the surface.
